  • anyways i thank you because this is helping me to be more confident in my decision. Also to realize i am not the only person going through this. thanks so much..

  • thanks for this video. I am 33 and had my first root canal at 10! That was by no means the last one. I inherited really weak bad teeth from my moms side of the family. they never looked bad in looking at them they were straight and white. but they gradually just got worse through out the years. They still dont look terrible but im in constant pain paying money to fix them when they only get worse. so ive decided to go the denture route as well. i figure it cant get worse.

  • hi. I have seen the video and it is a difficult decision to take, but in my view it is only you who can take it and I think you have given it much thought.

I was 26 as well when I had all my teeth pulled and they look much as yours. I have never ever regretted my decision and am a happy denture wearer. My self esteem increased and I felt better. I wish you good luck and hope you will update us as that will help other potential denture wearer as Kristy has done through her videos

  • @cvatican

Thank you :). It is good to hear when people are happy denture wearers. Because I think that would be me. I mean I won't really know until it is done, but I hope I am a denture wearer without regrets like you :o)

  • To be honest, they don't look that bad. When you said view discresion is advised, I thought they would be waayyyy worse. But I understand how you feel. Most of my teeth are root canals and crowns.. Sooo much money spent, and another crown of mine came out last week. There is no saving it. I think you are making a good choice. Good luck!

  • @jax252000

    lol Thank you :).

I know the images could have been worse, but I also know sometimes people rather not see it lol.

  • @MsAbramelinWitch

Thank you :)...If you are comfortable with it, and have any advice/tips for me I am all ears :)

  • Hi Nicole, I am a dental student and honestly your teeth are NOT as bad as you make it sound. I am not telling you not to get dentures as I cannot advice you without knowing all the details of your case but if you do.Make sure to get some implant retained dentures or at least leave some root tips in there to prevent bone resorption. Ask your dentist what your best choice is but I wouldn't get regular denture because you are so young and you don't want to have no bones when you are 40. God bless

  • @elshabsamy

Hey there :)...lol, I know they do not look as bad as it sounds...but my periodontal disease is pretty bad. A lot of the teeth that look whole, really are not..I did not have a lot of money to work with when I started this process , my dentist used a lot of bonding lol...I am definitely going to get the implant retained dentures, if I am a good candidate, for that exact reason, but I do appreciate the advice :)

  • Hi Nicole! much love to you and all the best with your denture adventure and weight loss program!

  • @bigmanshrinking1

    Thank you so much :)

  • I wish you good luck. It's hard having your teeth pulled, and for me it was a big blow to my self esteem. I had all mine pulled over a year ago, a couple months before i turned 23. My back teeth were almost completely rotted away, so those had to be cut out. They were infected to the bone. And I was awaiting a heart transplant, so i had decided to have them all taken out, instead of partials. didn't want my teeth to infect my new heart. :)

  • @Karoger1987

Thank you :). I am sorry to hear that about your heart, but you are very right about the infection. It is so hard for our bodies to battle this infection everyday, and as long as the teeth are there the infection can be there. That is why I did not decide on partials. Yes, it is less expensive, but at the end of the day it still would leave teeth in my mouth, which would leave the infection in my mouth. May I ask how is life with dentures at a young age? Is it what you expected?

  • @ColeyReinvented At first i was regretting getting them all pulled, I thought i was never gonna get used to the dentures. But it's pretty good now. I just hate the way they make my face look, and hopefully i'll get them fixed or implants. The upper denture pushes my "mustache area" out...lol. makes me look like i have no upper lip :( And they don't really look like my teeth, i had big front teeth, and my dentures teeth are all tiny. I am glad i did it though, no more dental work. :)

  • You are fabulous

  • @Midnightwiccan18

    thank you :)

  • Hi Nicole! I wish you all the best with your Denture Adventure and weight loss program. I wish I could lose weight too.

  • @LibertyBelle99

    thank you so much :)

  • I am so sorry that you were robbed of your beautiful smile. Good luck with the dentures :)

  • @blossombc

thank you for the support, you are so kind :) I may have been robbed of the smile I was born with, but I will smile again...and as scared and as nervous as I am to remove my teeth and get dentures, it is soooo worth being able to smile again. :)

  • Aww thanks Kristy :) That means so much coming from you :) If I can help at least one person through this, they way you have helped me, then putting it all out there is totally worth it :)

  • You are such a beautiful person inside and out and I applaud you for what you are doing for yourself. It isn't an easy decision but sometimes the right ones are the hardest to make. I think your videos are great and I think you are awesome for putting it all out there in hopes to help someone else. I am so glad you made this channel!
