Actually it was about the increase in life expectancy but it also shows that. The beauty of science is that there are many ways to do things, and it's rarely perfect, so Gallo probably made an educated guess, but many viruses are discovered in the same way (finding strange serum proteins in ill patients) so perhaps there is no such thing as viruses if you're correct. There is a lot of detective work involved in science and the answers are rarely black and white.

Actually it was about the increase in life expectancy but it also shows that. So according to you the tests don't work... even without a gold standard (which i admit i was wrong about) they seem to detect something that kills people.

Shows a clear increase in life expectancy over the last 5 years and average life expectancy up around 60. Compare that to the documented life expectancies of earlier cases where the drug treatments were worse/non-existant.

@sean6006 GALLO is the one who "discovered" what the "hiv" proteins are alleged to be and GALLO is the "hiv" antibody test kit patent holder.
No honey....the virus of mass destruction was announced in 1984. That can't be the primary reference and nowhere does anyone describe a DIRECT isolation of this alleged VMD out of an actual aids patient. They ASSUME a reaction on Gallo's crap antibody test = Gallo's virus.

@mykoolaidtastesfunny If you're so skeptical, be a true scientist and do the experiments for yourself. The beauty of science is that there are many ways to do things, and it's rarely perfect, so Gallo probably made an educated guess, but many viruses are discovered in the same way (finding strange serum proteins in ill patients) so perhaps there is no such thing as viruses if you're correct. There is a lot of detective work involved in science and the answers are rarely black and white.

Gallo LIED falsified his data and patented an antibody test. He forced out of the NIH after the Congressional Hearings into his conduct. Have you seen Gallo's awesome "evidence" for a virus of mass destruction?

@mykoolaidtastesfunny If you don't think his work has not been replicated, you're sadly mistaken. Just search for HIV quantitation, you'll find many methods including Dr. Gallo's. He owns the patent to his own method, but there are others, I can assure you, here's one:
