Europeans would travel east and south east Asians west to trade etc.. It's no real surprise that we still see evidence today from what was basically a big genetic melting pot.

Ever wonder y white ppl r called caucasians? Linguistic research indicates that the ancestors of modern europeans came in waves from the caucus mts in azerjaban and n. Iran and turkey in asia. those same groups also went south to n. India displacing older dravidian ppls. & the 3000 yr old corpse of a blonde woman has been found in w. China. I pity the blonde/blue/fair-skinned girls over there. In a world where men consider women more-or-less subhuman, having unusual coloration and beauty like that would be a curse.

my eyes look diffrent wen i take pictures in teh dark , i had my fb for so long and decided to finally pout a pic of myself and i took it wen teh room was pitch black only my pc's light was showing and i took the pic and my eyes cma out lookin like a gray/brownish color and then a few others and 1 came out lookin blue/gray and the rest just grey and my natrual color is dark brown nd only looks light brown in teh sun light

the girl @0:40 is from a group of Afghans who do have piercing blue eyes and they are a well known group, she is now around 40 and her eyes are almost grey because of what she has been through in her life ... Steve McCurry captured the image and searched for her years later and shot a portrait of her again to show these changes. stevemccurry(dot)com
