@Rafathaman94 LOL..i like how shallow people give extra CARE on grammar and english punctuation AS IF they excel at it..that comment was written deliberately to mock you..ever heard of sarcasm? yew mad? LOL
murrays forehand owns i dont know why he doesnt use it more often like that he would atleast be rank 2 if he played more like this everytime thing with nadal though is he has amazing stamina and the longer the game goes on the better he gets great players.
man murray. That skinny ass fuck head. when will he learn? running wont do shit. A toothpick like him wouldnt last at any hard heads like Tsonga, Soderling, or Berdych.
@kojiro99999 hahah what the f*** are you saying?!!! murray at his best owns these guys you just named! see he'll come back... man murray's way more vesatile than a tsonga or a soderling or even a berdych...
@greezall Please try to understand English ^^. Duh, anyone at their best can beat someone even at a highest degree. I agree with versitility. But its personal opinion.
The reason these two players are my favourite is because they bring out the best in each other. Rafa at Wimbledon this year was probably the greatest performance I've ever seen. 1 Unforced error in the 1st set. Just 1.
And Murray here and at the Austrilian Open showed the potential Murray has when he brings out the guns.
@Rafathaman94 I'm not as biased as most of the fedtards, I respect murray, nadal and a lot of players. The only player I don't like is ernest gulbis for the same reasons you don't like andy murray, he is over hyped and doesn't deserve the attention he gets!
Murray has got what it takes to win a Grand Slam. The US Open is his best bet this surface was made for him. He's just got to rise above the pressure. And not let the big players get any rythm.
murray has the most strategic play out of everyone...even federer....he is a genuis.....but the poor guy just gets nervous and is unable to produce his true game in the final.....and now...since he is the only one in the top 5 without a slam...hes begininng to lose his confidence.....murray could have beaten federer at the AO 2010 in straights...but with federer having 15 and murray having 0 slams...federer had way more confidence coming in.....poor murray just got stressed
THIS match is the last one Ive seen him play aggresivelly.Damn,I really liked the guy back then.Easy going, attacking, likeable. Now he's absolutely the oposite.
Id really have nothing against Murray's passive game in the early rounds if he started to attack in the latter stages of tournaments. The guy just likes to run down many balls and keeping them in play. You can't win a major this way
To win a GS he either needs to play like in the us open 2008 or wait till fed retires
this performance was why i became a murray fan..aside from him being british...he needs to play like this to beat the big hitters..hes become so defensive in slams since this one...he has the weapons...i hope he uses them!
Murray is an idiot, He should stop playing Call Of Duty and start learning why he played like that in the Semis of the US open 2008. If he can play like this then at least he win a HC slam. But if he doesn't he will only be a top tenner!
He realised that doing that at ONE match will not win him the slam, so he has gone away and built up his stamina and strength that he didnt have then. He couldnt play properly in the 2009 as his wrist was badly damaged....but he is fine now.
He will, he is just building up the stamina needed and his strength, Federer had a day and half rest before the final, Andy didnt get a rest. Andy knew to do that again he needs more strength, thats what he is doing. He can still play like he has....just watch
@CASPER10666 i think he needs to push forward he cant stay back like he usually does he needs to mix it up all the time serve and volley come forward take his groundstrokes on and when he's on the backfoot he can do what he does best but when he can take control he should
I think you will see a different Murray now, he needed the strength and stamina work first, he has all the strokes, he can play every shots, he still has all the strength he is using here . In fact if you had watch him play in the Hopman cup you would not be still saying all this. This is old hat now. Murray is not the player you see on here now. He is 10 times better.....
i did see him in the ho[pman cup and he played great should of beat robredo comfrotably tbh and he crusied past the others by going for his shots and coming forward however i dont think there was as much pressure on him as there is in australia its whether he can do it there or not if he does he should atleast make the semi's
There was no ranking points to defend or get so it wasnt really on his radar. He was just testing his net skills and shots, and adapting to the heat. Thats why he is not playing at the next tourney either just a practise session with Querry. Im sure he will turn up the heat at the slams.......
Why he left this kind of game since then. His shots were so flat and aggressive all the time. He has to bring back this game if he want to win his first slam.
@AndyMurrayFan217 well he says that he plays based on the opponent, that is either he's aggressive or he grinds depending on the opponent. He will generally grind against Federer (this is what he said in an interview somewhere early in 2009) because in past matches he'd found it a successful tactic. Then again when you think about it his 2010 playing style it's quite different to his old one (more aggressive nowadays), going for more with the serve and coming into the net far more often.
People usually find excuses for Nadal when he loses. I do not want to sound like one of them but the reason he lost this game was very simple and most people do not even acknowledge it.
He had to be up until 5am less than 48 hours before this game against Mardy Fish.
Anyone who is an athlete knows the impact of these all nighters. Even Djokovic complained about the US Open schedule.
I love it how Nadal was resorted to using a drop shot on the last point... NADAL! The ultimate shot of desperation, and it was poorly played.

All andy needs to win big is an improved second serve. Without it he will continue to be dominated by the big hitters.
