The reason these two players are my favourite is because they bring out the best in each other. Rafa at Wimbledon this year was probably the greatest performance I've ever seen. 1 Unforced error in the 1st set. Just 1.

And Murray here and at the Austrilian Open showed the potential Murray has when he brings out the guns.

THIS match is the last one Ive seen him play aggresivelly.Damn,I really liked the guy back then.Easy going,attacking,likeable.Now he's absolutely the oposite.

Id really have nothing against Murray's passive game in the early rounds if he started to attack in the latter stages of tournaments.The guy just likes to run down many balls and keeping them in play.You can't win a major this way

To win a GS he either needs to play like in the us open 2008 or wait till fed retires

He realised that doing that at ONE match will not win him the slam, so he has gone away and built up his stamina and strength that he didnt have then. He couldnt play properly in the 2009 as his wrist was badly damaged....but he is fine now.

i did see him in the ho[pman cup and he played great should of beat robredo comfrotably tbh and he crusied past the others by going for his shots and coming forward however i dont think there was as much pressure on him as there is in australia its whether he can do it there or not if he does he should atleast make the semi's

There was no ranking points to defend or get so it wasnt really on his radar. He was just testing his net skills and shots, and adapting to the heat. Thats why he is not playing at the next tourney either just a practise session with Querry. Im sure he will turn up the heat at the slams.......

@AndyMurrayFan217 well he says that he plays based on the opponent, that is either he's aggressive or he grinds depending on the opponent. He will generally grind against Federer (this is what he said in an interview somewhere early in 2009) because in past matches he'd found it a successful tactic. Then again when you think about it his 2010 playing style it's quite different to his old one (more aggressive nowadays), going for more with the serve and coming into the net far more often.

People usually find excuses for Nadal when he loses. I do not want to sound like one of them but the reason he lost this game was very simple and most people do not even acknowledge it.

He had to be up until 5am less than 48 hours before this game against Mardy Fish.

Anyone who is an athlete knows the impact of these all nighters. Even Djokovic complained about the US Open schedule.
