  • FREEDOM OF CHOICE! FUCK THE NEW WORLD ORDER PIECE OF BULLSHIT SYSTEM!!

  • watch?v=iRN5u8B2R1o house music i made

  • Nitzer Ebb on a Acid House party? Hmm....HELL YEAH!

  • hahahaha, mdma, extremely dangerous? good joke. It's less socially, mentaly and physically damaging than all but two recreational drugs... khat and poppers

  • house music is fuckin boring...............detroit techno and chicago acid yes, but bland house is dull as dish water, good house tracks are almost none existant, maybe richie richies salsa house?

  • house music all night long

  • fucking big lads FC

  • "but theres a sinister side to all this drugs" what a load of bollocks if i have ever heard any, just becasue there is drugs going around its automatically a crime, remember a crime is only a crime when those fat fuckers who are snorting half of columbia up their noses themselves say so.and the only reason they say so is because they cannot make a profit and put tax on weed and what have you. lol im sounding verry marxist

  • I'm sure we were shown this in school as an anti drugs thing... lol

  • 1:41 "Woowww...I've got like...a hundred fingers!!"

  • That looks a lot like Brandon Block at 0:18

  • @triaxiom thats because it is brandon block mate

  • 2:10 it costs money, kids don't got that kinda money… think I bought drugs of this man when I was a teenager…

  • i was there baby...

  • "Oh no! People aren't using our taxed drugs to have fun!"

  • "No alcohol being sold and people using drugs everywhere..."

    Sooo, what's the problem?

  • RICHARD BRANSON???

  • @0416013321 Dj Richard Branston & MC Pickled

  • lol, at THAT IS A DAMN LIE... his face... so smug and british lol.

  • LSD was developed in Switzerland in the late 30's... its not American in any way. but it does sound like you had to be on SOMETHING to actually listen to this music...

  • @superpyromaniac id argue that it is american in the sense that an entire culture was raised around the use and availability of the drug. there was also an acid explosion in the UK, but they never had their dennis leary's, preaching the face of god in a microdot. they also never had owsley lsd, ken kesey, or the merry pranksters. in that sense, i would say that acid is something entwined with american culture, and as such, became american. (and i enjoy acid house sober. chew on that)

  • @aenimate dude theyr not even talking about LSD theyr talking bowt ecstasy. not sayin that nobody during the acid house boom was on acid, but acid use was massively dwarfed by the use of E. HENCE the incredible gurns in this video. the reason it's called "acid-house" was because the UK tabloids originally got it wrong and thought they wer on acid; nobody had heard of ecstasy back then, and the tabloids never do research! America can have its acid revolution; we Brits are the children of Ecstasy.

  • You all think it's funny, but I got a condition called Czech Neck, from taking too much Cake in the 90's, I was a proper custard gannet..Please kids, use your cheese box and say NO! NEVER!

  • ecstasy is less dangerous than booze it a fact

  • Lol. I like the advertisements for secret venues.

  • Good music love it . By the way It's not front 242 it's nitzer ebb( join in the chant ).

  • that...is...ahhh...damn.....lie..uhhh...

  • she sounded pissed that no alcohol was provided

  • I like how they call it acid house in the lead in, yet they are listening to Front 242. They should at least know what freakin music they are criticizing.

  • First track ID anyone???? Thanks! Keep on Raving people.

  • What is the first song on this video? 0:01

  • @TheXanthousSound

"we call it acieed" from d-mob

  • @JacksRectum Thanks mate!

  • I was into the music, the 303's the 606's, the analog loveliness of it all, then for some bizarre reason a new bread of "cunt" arrived with whistles and simplistic minds chanting the same toss, might as well have worn a swastika, a group clot of dumbness.. then i found out its all because of that wanky fucking TOTP tune where people chanted "aciiiiiiied" the mantra of the moron, they destroyed it for you, many went 'underground' but even today shit house persists in chav-music nights, horrid.

  • "There were drugs everywhere and nobody tried to stop it." I Bet no pissheads were fighting each other and no-one was glassed/beaten up for interveneing in a fight or raped though were they?

  • I wish i was there. Cant believe how they demonise ecstacy, a drug proven to be safe when it is pure and compared to alcohol is 100 times less dangerous. Makes me real angry. Al kids my age (18) want to do is get pissed and listen to justin Bieber.

  • sounds sick

  • "a new drug called ecstacy"

sigh* and how far we have become

  • Its called "Flesh"

    /watch?v=WGREpZEz66E&feature=related

    Classic tune

  • @TheWarehouseMusic Thank you for the track info....I have waited over 20 years for the name of that record ;-)

  • Anyone know the name of the track around 1:30?

  • I was in the Forces in Germany and remember watching this on forces TV.....We where already going to House Music Clubs around North Germany however when Acid House hit the scene went full on and i got my dance moves to Acid from watching this news piece!!! ;-)

  • Its frightening the amount of propaganda the british media subject us to. Funny how the two boys that supposedly died of Mephedrone were then found to have none of it in their system but the BBC et al just sweep it under the carpet without making clear their errors in reporting. Scaremongers

  • is that brandon block at 20secs?

  • now we call it Electro House :)

  • So funny how it's been reported. I've seen a lot of party's. "underground" as well. Weird to think of m8s being pushers and stuff. It's just about having fun. Biggest danger in the use of drugs is being uninformed or not having people around you who are.

Luckily, the rave continues, otherwise I would've missed the boat. One love!

  • Wheres theres kids theres drugs thats p[sychology!!

  • ffffffffffFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU IM THE ONE WITH THE SMILING FACE ON THE T SHIRT

  • Brandon Block at 0.18. Groovy 1988 dancing at 1.36

  • That is ah cloud cuckoo land that is a damn lie! haha oh dear.

  • One of the bandana wearing guys looks like Ed Miliband

  • Wish I could go back...

  • @DJBASIC93

Its on the 12" and its called the 'Burn' mix if I stand correct?. I'm pretty sure it is anyway :)

  • Sounds like hell.... those evil acid house rave organisers leaving their 'tickets' in record shops to be picked up by innocent firemen and advertising executives... what is the world coming to? :-(

  • @westwood63 Won't somebody think of the advertising executives! People hugging and dancing. Stop this evil!

  • LOL checked for acid its fucking given out in micro grams a dose smaller than a grain of salt lawl oh yeah that's easy to check for

  • this is about 1988-89

  • Brandon Block at 0.16! must be, at least between then and 93 you could enjoy raving.....due to good gear! im now am a qualified goat herder and have nine kids!;)

  • class, wish i was there............... Old farts

  • Not old, you sound like an old young hehe

  • If only they knew what we know now!! Rave was a new outlet....this report makes out like the 60's & 70's never happened....the rave scene was late by my clock. I have had the best time getting off my face in clubs...and hold a great career...most of my mates are the same....it's all good bruv'!!

  • The guy at 2:50 seems mentally ill

  • Good luck with finding the stuff at the entrance... ;)

  • Is that Richard Branson at 3:30?

    ???

  • @1981jl yes

  • rave music rave parties No house.....fuck the idiot house music

  • how can you be for 'TECHNORAVE', and still talk shit on house? it all comes from house man, it's where it all started. not saying you have to love it, but at least have some respect.

  • wrong!!! the mother disco born the techno,rave,house,trance....discooooo

  • You listen to Eurotrash

    not Rave

  • rave!

    euro music forever

  • @saintnickXIII No man, House comes from Techno (and disco, as Technorave10s says) The sounds from Detroit "travelled" to Chicago in a Roland 909 that Derrick May sold to the people from Chicago as he didn't have money to pay his flat.... For more info read Techno Rebelde (Ariel Kyrou) :) Acid House 4 evah

  • @axebriegu

Well to be honest Juan Atkins was making prototype Techno as far back as 81 under the artist name Cybotron, a good few years before Derrick May got started. Also Jesse Saunders wrote a track called On and On in 84 which is the first Chicago House track so its pretty close.

An Indian Bollywood album from 1982 has just been discovered as well, which could possibly be the first Acid House record. So it goes back even further still :)

  • @saintnickXIII Like it!

  • I remember the pills at the time 25 quid a pop so didn't go there until a couple of years later

  • tell me what you think about the wimmins liberation? wait a minittt man heeead up! shut the fuk up an gimme a funky ass baseline!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hey DJ wassssh yer face!!!!

  • The first 27 secs is music by Nitzer Ebb, damn if thats Acid/house - No way.!

The first real house comes by 40 sec.

  • I love acid, in those days we had a lot of fun in Club Roxy Amsterdam. And yes, everthing was with an E. Good times!

  • try 4 or 5 man, youll flyyyy :D

  • i am acid house

  • this is 88 not early 90's as info suggests

  • late 80s and early 90s actually. gtfo

  • A Split Second - Flesh

  • thx!

  • does anyone know the track that is to be heard from 1:27 to 1:47?

  • @cyberhops

    A Split Second - Flesh

  • funny thing is acid house is nothing to do with lsd like they say, xtc is the drug that is associated with it anyway. shows how much they know.

  • who are these mentally impaired people speaking in this video,...

    gosh,....

when i'm stoned to death i'm like 1000x times smarter than they are sober,...

  • They were victims of propaganda or tried to make average people that.. grow some hatred against Acid House and all rave people.

It's also funny how one music style, Acid House is used in larger context to describe whole rave culture.

Of course back then it was a same thing for a little while because acid house main genre which was played at certain type of parties.

But soon there was that "hardcore" which had broken beats etc.. which was never my thing.

  • and the unemployed lol.

and where the where dancers there was pushers lol

Like everyone that dances in clubs there is drugs involved lol

    This is horse shit

  • and to add- i find it HILARIOUS and pathetic when chaps like that douche british old "medic"or whatever claims to know anything about the effects or possible dangers of acid when he hasnt even tried it.this goes for all"drug experts".acid is unnadictable physically and does even less harm than alcohol or tobacco if pretty much any exept exhaustion.i dont even call it a drug.i call it an enthoegen,a tool of self exploration and deepened concioussness.the key to setting youself and your muse free

  • @actyme people are, have been and always will be ignorant. they fear what they dont or cant understand.

  • @actyme and does even less harm than alcohol or tobacco, AGREED.

  • @actyme Dont come on here saying drugs are alright to take. no matter if it is taken in moderation they still mess you up. this was in the 90's when this report came out. do you wanna see the stats of 2010? now some of the people in this video are dead or homeless. drugs are never right.

  • @rekaepa friend, drugs are like money- only as good as the user. I personally never felt the urge to clasify substances on the levels of moral structure, which is quite hip in the consciousness of modern anti-drug zealots. Drugs like coffee with a horrendous health profile even when compared to cannabis is welcome into the home and the lifestyle of modern people- not percieved as "fucked up" to use every morning. This is simply that we value certain states of mind and we fear and suspect others.

  • @actyme ill have to disagree. soon you will become dependent on these substances. I dont intend to watch that happen to the next generation. Who here would like to have a Doctor explain to them that their son or daughter has the brain of a 5 year old? i wouldn't

id put the health and safety of my kids before mine. fuck the Euphoria that you get from being high.

But opinions are opinions who am i to try to change yours right?

  • @rekaepa I'm not asking you to agree, friend. And by saying "these substances" you assume i do lots of drugs, truth is i don't. Dont drink, dont smoke either. I'm just saying the whole "drug morality" is a pretty modern and vague concept. Sure, when someone, usually uneducated on substances and therefore lacking inner discipline, fucks themselves up its very sad. But its wrong to asume everyone is going to and wrong to establish the system we currently have. we are not criminals. tolerance :)

  • @actyme ok that just blew my mind...psych!!

  • @rekaepa burnt!!! ha ha!!

  • @rekaepa

why are you watching this if you dont like it? fucking actor!!!

  • @rekaepa fucking retard!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • propoganda with absolutely false information.even the guys using it dont know what its suppose to be used for anymore jesus what has acid become?some street drug?its a powerfull entheogen and unnadictable.the bad trips only occur if the set or setting is bad. if the guy gets busted by the police while on acid then sure hell go bannanas.but if its in peacefull surroundings and nature its a tool of self exploration, art, love, awareness of the connectiont to nature and others.its hard to put in words

  • that old codger has obvioulsy aint got a fuckin clue wat hes on about and has never even gone ta a rave let alone done drugs

  • an acid house track was made using samples from this report...can anyone point me in the direction of it?

  • id like to hear that --- if you find it or have found it... let me know?? cheers :)

  • it's called don't believe the hype by mister e according to a post lower down...think that must be the one to look for! gonna have to go crate digging for that one!!

  • Branson at the time time owned Heaven, a big club in London. He allowed Oakenfold to run his Spectrum monday nighters there, then it became Land of Oz when the The Scum (Sun) did a story on the drugs there.

  • What the hell did Richard Branson have to do with it???

  • HOLY SHIT that second track is a remix of Join in the Chant by Nitzer Ebb...I remember reading somewhere that EBM was strongly influenced by Balearic Beat, or vice versa, and then you've got bands like Psychic TV and Excessive Force mixing house with industrial I guess...

Sorry...just a had a lil geek moment there...

  • If you want to hear an amazing re-work of Nitzer Ebb's Join in the Chant, track down Join In The Chant (Knarz Is Machine) by Thomas Heckmann, good stuff

  • 2:37.

Look at that inbred British wanker.

He can talk without moving his mouth ;-)

  • lol @ 0:10 totally pilled out

  • ha ha ha :D

  • this news report is full of shit. typical brainwash propaganda.

  • any news report is full of it. they exagerate anything for audience.

  • what is the song at 1:44.

    thanx

  • Its called Flesh by A Split Second. Great track!

  • ACIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED

  • yaaa exxtazzy

  • TAKE ACID!!!!

  • american drug. right.

  • "Acid House Cult"

  • That guy at 2:54 looks like he's on drugs.

  • Cuddy, what the hell are you on about? Acid House may have been a flash in the pan but it gave birth to a wider movement and was the Godfather of the sub genres that exsist today. I refuse to believe that you do not realise this?

  • the first d'n'b in the world come from UnitedKingdom

  • wow! thats the devastating repartee I expect from a sweaty raver thats off his tits on MDMA!

  • fuck you man

    acid house forever

  • haha sure the bloke on 18 seconds is brandon block!! man i was born in the wrong era!!

  • You are right it sure is!!

  • haha to the old guy at 2.30 go and do some gardening and shout the fuck up!!!

  • Which episode of Brasseye was this?

  • Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! On that note, im off to get fucked!!!

  • haha, the old dude cracks me up.

  • neo disco show!

  • I used to secretly listen to acid house at the time when I was full on into hip hop.

There's a song by Mr E called Don't Believe The Hype which uses lots of samples of this news report. Also features an early Steve Coogan as well.

  • what the fuck is this

  • Haha that guy at the end could use some E.

  • the neo-disco etape

  • Haha check out Brandon Block at 0:18! What a prize goon!

  • It does look like him. This vid is very funny, esp the old geezer who does'nt have a scooby

  • I wish I was there. But it makes me angry how the government was making all sorts of crap up about ecstasy, just to discredit the whole scene, just to take control of a harmless pursuit.

A bunch of old fogies bitter cos they missed the first summer of love in the 60s. Look at their faces though. Bunch o' ugly gurners haha! You need drugs to enjoy acid house for more than an hour lol. At least with dubstep, you don't need drugs, its all about the sound (although most dubsteppas are stoners)

  • it was a weird time, i was 18 and not really into taking drugs so i actually found the whole thing hilarious especially how acid house grew so big so quick. still i have some great memories.

  • Shut it, dubstep wouldn't even exist without all that. Latecomer =) =P =P

  • DJbasic:

The second tune is 'Join In The Chant' by a band called Nitzer Ebb.

I dunno what mix though - the original isn't quite that banging! It's a famous tune tho - there's several videos on Youtube...

  • "Don't you think it's wrong to sell drugs?" the interviewer says. Why don't you go and ask that question to people who run the big breweries?

  • Cool ! Too bad this is only a part of that news report....

  • you can actually see Josh (party hard) at 0:59

  • does anyone know the track that is to be heard from 1:27 to 1:47?

  • ha ha ha.. memories!

  • this is so lame that they try to associate music with drugs. You can be sober and still enjoy acid. Its like when elvis started singing all the uptight people that didn't understand rock and roll saying "oh this will make all the girls have sex prematurely its satins music bla bla bla bla." its just music. its a good thing.

  • I get such a mental high out of such music. I don't even have to move; my mind goes floating and yet no traces of drugs...

  • Damn, that's the way I like to party!

  • great period for me was Acid house time.

when somebody in France was like me...hands up with acide music. let me know ;-)

  • nobody c

  • nobody c

  • i was there!! off me head on e and acid!!

it was fucking brilliant and it set me up for another 12 years of raving and multiple doses of the best e I couls find!

  • oh but think of the children!

  • Wankers

  • memerioes xx

  • whats the name of the song from 1.29 to 1.48

  • A Split Second-"Flesh"
