  • Oh hai! Have you thought about - fast abs magic (search on google)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker got really defined Six pack abs and lost crazy amounts of belly fat with it.

  • I've been goin to the gym for over a month now ,,I cudnt even jog for 30secs b4 , now i can do 1:45 ,, my heart rate still isn't any better my average heart rate is 150/160 ?? My rest in heart rate is bout 110 any ideas y this is or wot I can do bout it ?

  • now, should i do my workout before, or after my cardio training?

  • i'm always afraid of falling off the treadmill and looking like a dumbass at the gym

  • Oh hai! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend lost tons of weight with it.

  • Does this get rid of belly fat

  • @snowmonkey12397 theres no such thing as spot fat removal, but yes this will lower your overall body fat. The body decides where to take the fat away, just stay dedicated and you will lose the bell fat i promise

  • Very nice video.

I already do this on my training. However, 12mph is just insane. I can only keep up 10mph for 30s. I think being short (5'8") doesn't help me.

  • @Venezuela305 doesnt matter slow pace walk into a job then into a run/sprint is interval training (cardio workout)

  • @Venezuela305 jog***

  • @Venezuela305

I`ve been doing this at the gym for a while, I`m up to 13mph sprint intervals and I last about 60 seconds.

  • Very nice presentation, well done

  • love it

  • terminator? lmao

  • ur like freaking flash lol fast runner uhm i dont have a treadmill nor can i run for long seeing im over wieght and have asma should i just jog/rest/jog down my street?

  • I have been doing cardio intervals for 4½ months & have lost 40 pounds of body fat, went from 37 in. waist to 30. Combined with immediate follow up strength training it’ allowed me to gain 20 pounds of muscle. Net loss, 20 pounds. Proper nutrition allowed me to gain all that muscle mass. My interval timing has been 90 seconds regular pace, 30 seconds full tilt. I do 3 workouts per week. Start with 3 sets & work your way up to 6 and 8 over 12 weeks. It’s hard but worth it.

  • Good video, thank you, iv been doing intense interval training for a few months now and it works very well and takes less time. You really feel the burn if you push yourself at this, i dont walk though, just jog 4 mins at 11kmh and sprint 1 min at 17 building up to 30 mins overall. after that, rather than increasing overall time increase sprints to 1.5 mins etc etc.. The same principle can also be applied to the rowing machine and bike etc i find...

  • This video is ridiculous. Real interval training means you shouldn't rest more than the duration at 100% of your speed and you'd better run than walk for the "rest" part, i.e. run 30'' at 100%, run 30'' at footing pace (or slower). I just made 2 times 10 x 30/30 resting 3 minutes between the 2 series. This is real interval training, the rest is crap. For longer durations (e.g. 4 minutes at 90%), you should "rest" half the duration of the intense part. Enjoy!

  • @jtblin run 30"? 30 inches?

  • @eryman17 sorry didn't see your question. 30'' = 30 seconds. After a warm up, run (not sprint) as fast as you can for 30 seconds then little jog or walk for 30 seconds. Repeat 10 to 15 times for a good workout. Hope it still helps. Cheers

  • Great video. This really explains a lot. Allows me to have a combination of cardio/sprint training for basketball.

  • is it the fact that its anaerobic that burns fat? i ve read that during long term aerobics your body holds onto fat as it is undergoing long term stress. short intense anaerobic workouts are said to burn fat for up to 5 hours after the workout, any truth there? or is that the point of intense bursts on the treadmill? to reach anaerobic activity? just trying to clear things up, thanks

  • aerobic and anaerobic training burn fat. Anaerobic training burns more fat up to 24 hrs, after training. The key is to push yourself. Intense bursts on the treadmill will burn a lot of fat. You don't have to spend 1hr on the treadmill. 15 to 20 minutes of anaerobic activity will get you in shape fast. Give it a try. Start off slow. Try doing 20 seconds of bursts. You have to experiment.

My wife tells me that I feel warm all the time. Thats the fat burning. You will feel hot long after workouts.

  • ok, but when you say "intense bursts on the treadmill", how fast should you run on those bursts? coz i run at 5miles/hr; would that be too slow? Also, how long should those bursts be?

  • if you can hold a conversation while running, you are not running fast enough. You want to run hard enough that when you get off the treadmill, you might puke. Ease into this type of workout. 20 seconds of intense running. Take a minute to recover. Repeat this 5 more times. As you get into better shape, decrease your recovery time. Don't do this everyday. 3 times a week. It works. I thought running 5 miles, 5 times a week was the way to go. Not so. Sprinting is the bomb. Trust me.

  • great, thanks! i'll try it out....all this time i've been doing long duration, low intensity cardio, but now i'll try high intensity lower duration

  • Based on all your videos, you are a great trainer. I am also NASM and I think we train similarly.

Ever heard of V gym in Charleston? Love that place!

  • sub for a sub ?

  • Good . But I lost over 30 lb in one month using weight loss plan from LSWEIGHT(.)INFO

i think it was fat camp or something

  • tell me more about doing long slow walks on the treadmill on off days.
