Yes she was, in three games actually. She was the main antagonist in the first game of the Legend of Spyro Trilogy, A New Beginning. She was a secondary character in the second of the Trilogy, The Eternal Night, and the main protagonist along with Spyro in the last of the trilogy, Dawn of the Dragon. I don't want to spoil much else so as Jamie12364 below me said, Cynder says something to Spyro in the last game that changes everything!
