@Kobeownzu81 I read somewhere how Adam is essentially given the credit for the U2 sound. Because he plays his bass at a higher scale than most bassists play, it forced Edge to move up the scale on his guitar, and that is the piercing guitar sound we all know and love.

Most of the bass in their music is written by Adam Clayton, The Edge and Brian Eno. thats what i heard anyway !
