The first species was awesome! the 2nd was pretty cool. The third sucked, but at least it put an end to the story. and the 4th... I actually liked it, the final few scenes really hit the spot for me, not as good as the first 2, but as another story it does pretty good. Some of the coolest sci-fi films I've seen by far!

Did you know the movie Speices the Awakening poorly directed due to repeat of the same scripts from speices 1. Unlike Speices 1 and 2 well directed because of events using the both male and female aliens expressing the Alien sexual relationship together with more horror and action. Instead of film directing an Alien movie of a female alien why not instead a male Alien speices that way more action rather than the boring and uninteresting concept of romance just like Terminator Salvation.

yeah, that 3rd movie looked too much like cheap japanese power ranger monster knockoffs, also the lead alien needed more than 4-6 strands of hair. sil and eve had alot in the hair department. anyway, the 4th one was definitely better especially the cocoons scenes, i love those. you never know what's gonna come out of them.
