  • holy shit this kids will be so much better... now actually considering that the video is years old

  • Comment removed

  • Why are they yelling it him? It reminds me of the wing episode of south park. And why dress him like Sheena Easton?

  • @Nikkyeshiva83 the yelling encourages the performer, the dress well its a uniform to seem present

  • what r they feeding this child???

  • thats alot of arm flailing.

  • nice dance

  • i don't know whats the problem with the tournaments or this wushu competitions, i've seen this videos and i just found a lot of mistakes in positions and movements. i wonder if the judges take all that in consideration to make the right judgement.

at 14 years of age i did my black belt in Chan Chuan Wu-Shu Wu-Lin Mexico, that's why i know what i'm talking about.

  • @SupahGundamFan when you do wushu, you're suppose to scream that stuff to encourage the performer lol

  • @dhrixel7 that might be the kid's dad!

  • cant that dude just shut up

  • it looks really awesome,

but some moves look like ballet O_o

  • @wiebenjijzeg Actually, ballet looks like wushu without the exciting stuff. I believe that's what you meant haha.

  • @Jaygenius depends on what was first i think ^^

but there is a resemblance in both

  • Ay guys i think this is Jet Li Junior!!!!!!

  • True master in modern wushu know how to use the skills in a real fight (forms part).

    Blue belt in Wushu.

  • @BoKxTV There are no belts in wushu...

  • @Jaygenius sash's watever. in some places there are

  • He has a double rainbow belt

  • @tishihara1994 Oh my God, what does it mean?!?!?!

  • It doesn't feel useful in a fight

  • @flameo1000

obviously not, this is Wushu Kung Fu, Only for show... its all about style.

  • @djxtatik oh ok, cuz my friend practices wushu and i do wing chun kung fu.

If this not useful in a fight, than i guess why it used in the movies cuz it's for show.

  • @flameo1000

    exactly! :D

  • @flameo1000 Wing chun works in a real fight; wushu does not even my sifu admited this. People enjoy watching flashy moves that's why it's used in movies

  • @flameo1000 For the sport of it no but the techniques yes they are. Wushu is a sport but when going into the fighting element of wushu it is as useful as any other martial art :) I have had to use it for one occasion, getting jumped and only having a broomstick handle is not fun >____> but it was no challenge when using the techniques haha. You should try wushu its fun :)

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeet bloomin epic :D evry who said hes the avatar... so tru!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hes a chick magnet XD

  • that guy is very anoying whit his gayas yelling

  • He's amazing...but, why is he wearing a halter top?

  • who is the guy in the background soo annoying

  • If this kid went to school in America all the bullies will be bowing down to him

  • @tintct00 american bullies are faggots judging by the way you people portray them in films, im not surprised

  • i htink hes not a kid, prolly a short teenager or so,hes too fast to be a kid . Good to watch though

  • @MechPhantom Nah, hes not to fast.. ther are alot of shaolin kids who are very fast and are only 8-10 years old... but i will agree with you in saying that he doesnt look extremely young, probably 11 or 12 yrs

  • @magicmandaniel lol u kidding me? hes too fast to be young haha lol

  • @MechPhantom not at all haha.. alot of them start their training at the age of 6 so they become very very fast and strong by the time they are 10-13 yrs old

  • @magicmandaniel hmm can i be faster then him at the age of 19 now? and btw can i start wushu at this age lol? th man

  • @MechPhantom well unless u practice a martial art that is faster than his probably not unless ur a runner... and umm you can start wushu at this age if u want to but it will be fukn hard...

  • @magicmandaniel k thx man see ya lolx

  • this should be and olympic sport

  • @shadowwarwolf98 now wushu - olympic sport too, since 2008 year

  • Judging by the open back wardrobe, this Must be a little girl! Or a cross dressing boy

  • that move from 48 to 50 seconds is a ripper!

  • wow born to wushu so sick

  • still think taking candy is easy? you couldnt even get within 5 feet of his candy before he kicks your ass

  • @Yinyan110 ??? wushu does not develop strength in any way basically they practice flexibility and do embroidery punches and flashy kicks but traditional kung fu is still good it DEVELOPS STRENGTH, teaches you to be pain resistant, and has combat application. on the other hand this kid in a real fight would be completely useless

  • @TH3aznEmperor 'COMPLETELY' useless? lol, i'd LOVE to see you in a fight against him.

wushu toughens up muscles because of all the quick moves. extending and contracting your muscles almost instantaneously. flexibility is just something that you get over time, as with other MA's. one might not bulk up, but gain agility instead. velocity contributes to force of impact.

  • @theMilkz Id have to say with all the arm flailing he wouldn't do so good in a fight. But the kid has discipline and technique; not good technique but not bad and too win any fight you need technique.

  • @Thekaratekid101 i agree with you on the technique. this part of wushu is more to developing reflexes and discipline rather than practicality for fighting. i just disagree that it's totally useless in developing strength, as what the previous commenter implied.

  • @theMilkz YOU ARE FUCKING STUPID GOD DAMN... Wushu is a martial art do you know what martial means you idiot. do you even know the 72 arts of the shaolin. to develop speed and reflexes i can use a god damn punching bag. search up the history of china. Look at all the wars death fights were a part of chinese tradition they develop ways to applicate it and train to improve one self to be stronger. it is necessary to breed true greatness and see the flaws to imporve one's self

  • @TH3aznEmperor too lazy to read all that wound up crap, so i don't know what you're trying to get at. you still can't say this kid can't beat your fat ass, though.

  • @theMilkz fine he can't beat me end of story. plus how do you know my body have you ever seen me. faggot ass malaysian

  • @TH3aznEmperor suuuuure. he can't beat you like you beat your tiny tool. closet case loser.

  • MORTAL KOMBATTT!!!!!

  • This kid is going to become a Mortal Kombat master someday.

  • if he couldve manipulate air than he will be the TRUE AIR BENDER!!

  • yeah! he moves like an air bender!!!! THUMBS UP!!!

  • wow i havent seen a kid that could perform 540 gyro and btwist split at that height.

  • Once in a lifetime genius.

  • @wyyc

you should check the kids at the shaolin temples

  • that was some good wushu.

  • holy shit man thats really cool!!!

  • ouch the dudes voice hurts my ears...cool performance though.

  • whats the nme of this form? my shifu once one a competition in portugal with it

  • @josesblima

i think its chang quan.been looking at chang quan vids for past few days.....

direct translation would be "long fist"?

  • crazy wushu kid..im real happy for you, and imma let you finish...but there is no real application to that dance in real life

  • are you kidding me? a boy with that body controll can perform and adjust to any martial art / sport in the future.

  • wushu talent future soldier

  • :49!!!! wtf!!!

  • you should probably try graduating high school you ignorant prick.

  • yeah^^ HE is the real Avatar

  • @KingDarkage

u saw it because he is bending the air right :D?

  • They should have tracked down this kid to play Aang in The Last Airbender.

  • @TTTrixta he is the kid playing aang m night confirmed it

  • split, butterfly, tronado and lots more :)

  • changquan?

  • yes

  • the guy in the background sounds mean as hell

  • probably his father xD

  • he is saying keep up the good work or put some steam in it

  • wow

  • hes well the next jet li ! :P

  • 720 twist to split , aerialtwist ... nice

  • good job

  • 刚劲有力....柔中带刚

  • lol

  • wow... you're stupid. wushu is a competitive sport. yes, it comes from traditional gong fu, which is used for self defense. but give me a break man, this is for sport. Martial arts is about self improvement, and perfecting your art as well as immobilizing your opponent and keeping yourself safe. you're not going to win any fight with out hard work and time. The true meaning of gong fu. I am a practitioner or northern shaolin gong fu, wushu, and chen style taiji quan.

  • So what you're saying is that it can't be both?

  • Cai Yang, beijing team 2004 qualifiers.

  • good video..but i wish his fans would stop yelling so damn loud

  • i respect that kid, that first gyro was amazing, im gonna put my kid in that

  • You said you've practiced Shaolin for 4 years... seriously man, thats nothing. The average participent in my class has been practicing for 8 years, some for as long as 19. You don't become an instant expert and you clearly don't completely understand. You have no right to judge him or his form until you actually understand what it is you're judging

  • Finally wushu is a military art and was developed as such. The looking flashy is as important as the moves themselves, its called the art of intimidation. Midevil Scotland berserkers would strip down and charge there enemys while nude, covered in war paint not because nudity was strategically advantageous, but because is scared your enemys.

  • By the way, wushu is a SPORT derived from traditional Chinese martial arts. You may want to check your facts. Its the same thing that happened when TKD came to the states: the 'American way' (mostly the business aspect) made the art loose more and more of it's discipline and technique in order to make it more profitable and easier to pass through. Not that wushu is the way it is because of business or entrepreneurship, but it is basically a watered down mixed version of traditional chinese arts.

  • I know this video is old but he should be grown up by now and yet theres no new videos of him. This kid is really amazing. Does anyone know where there are more videos of him? Or where he went?

  • Not to knock any of this kids talent, but this sort of thing is taking a rich history of highly effective and deadly martial arts and turning it into dance/gymnastics. It's kind of sad. The techniques this kid is demonstrating are just as martial as, say, a high kid done by the Rockettes or something like that. NOT martial art techniques. It's become a show.

  • dude...shut the fuck up. This is so good for his coordination, movement, speed, agility, flexibility, skeletal conditioning, cardio, and creativity. You sound like a big UFC newbie who doesn't know shit.

  • Actually, I've been studying authentic Shaolin Kungfu for about 4 years now. I've also been studying Yang Style Tai chi for 2. Like I said, I'm not knocking this kid's ability cause he has alot of it. I'm just saying if you compare this 'routine' with a traditional long form in pretty much any martial art system (more specifically KungFu, since that is what this is derived from) this appears to be much more of an act or display as opposed to rehearsing a technique. Way to falsely judge me, btw.

  • Ok, you just contradicted yourself by saying that you were not knocking this kids ability. You were calling his skills sad in your last post. That's a kid! Why would you knock on a kid with this kind of dicipline and skill because you think that your style is better? Accept it for what it is. This boys an artist of life.

  • What? Now you're putting words in my mouth. I said the fact that the STYLE has changed this much is sad. Try reading again. I also never said my style was better. I ALSO made it very clear TWICE that I was NOT knocking this kid. You only hear you want. Youve offered nothing substantially defending your point in this conversation yet. I was commenting on the art itself, and you managed to take it personally and twist towards the performer. Anyone who can read my comments has realized that by now.

  • You also need to relax a little. I've been pretty civil with you up to this point. Maybe you should do the same. And if asked if I thought my art was better (in terms of actual martial arts, of course) I would say that 99% of skill that comes from martial arts comes from how much the practitioner puts into it. The other 1% would be from the style and in this case, ya, I'm pretty sure my style is a more effective, more proven martial art. Look it up: Shaolin Kung Fu (shaolin do in the states)

  • You clearly have not learned enough (or true) Shaolin, at least not taken it to heart, because you lack the humility a true Shaolin practitioner possesses.

  • Btw, 1:16 for example. This is for sure an effective technique.

  • Sorry man, but for someone who claims to have put so much effort in the martial arts you really don't know what your talking about. First of all none of your skill comes from your form, skill is developed. Your form is simply how you administer the skills you develope. Second nearly every move demonstrated in his form has a practical use, if you actually applied yourself and listened to your teacher you would know that.

  • I never claimed to be an expert. This was taken way too far. All I did was voice my own honest opinion on Wushu. I wasn't talking myself up at all. I also never spoke of skill when talking about forms. I spoke of technique, because the techniques in the form are the ones you gradually learn to utilize after repetition. Absolutely do NOT tell me that I'm not applying myself to my martial art. I work just as hard as anyone else if not harder, I guarantee that.

  • I clearly also have not been studying as long as some people, but Ive been in it long enough to be able to analyze a form for its uses and significance even if that form is not part of my style. The movements of the human body are universal, and frankly so are most martial art techniques when it gets right down to it. Again, I'm not and never claimed to be an expert, but I'm not an idiot either. If you could enlighten me, take my example of 1:16 and explain the significance of these moves to me.

  • Striking down on someone... He brings his left hand down, and the hop could be seen as utilizing gravity. If you were a true martial artist you would respect others styles and value humility a bit more.

  • This is simple really. During the ming dynasty Wushu was banned by their communist goverment.(later allowed in the Qing Dynasty) So practitioners found ways where they could keep from being punished for practicing their way of life. Hence the flash and acrobatics, The REAL reason for the stomp on the ground and the back hand to the palm is to strengthen those specific body parts.

Done repeated in form will condition for combat! Almost all forms have some form of body conditioning.

  • Oh not to mention it could be used as a block. He brings his arm together when hes done.

  • Ok. Lets talk about being a TRUE martial artist. I believe it involves questioning the purpose of things to find out their meaning. I question things in my own system all the time. I question the purpose and effectiveness of techniques and forms. I won't blindly accept things for true and good. Thats ignorance. It doesn't mean I don't respect styles. I also love the various reasons being given for why I haven't taken my training to heart or what not. You know nothing of me.

  • As far as respecting others styles, I absolutely do. This kid does things I'm not capable of. Respecting something doesn't mean you can't be critical of it though, just as I'm critical of my own style. Not every form of every style is going to be as good as it possibly could, some far from it. Some arts just aren't going to be as effective as others either. Do you respect the general body of practitioners of American TKD? I don't really. Ive known way too many people who get a belt after a week.

  • it depends on the practitioner not on the art. Obviously a master of a specific art is going to be good in it. no style is better than another, it's the person performing the style that decides who is better. Just different moves, different styles. everyone who practices a specific style will know different ways of dealing with situations. oh, btw i agree with you. i dont respect american TKD, or karate. I'm a practitioner of northern shaolin Gong fu, and i do respect all styles of martial arts.

  • So this doesn't include authentic TKD? :) I love TKD.... but I love Gongfu more.

..and you are right. It doesn't matter what moves you pick; what really matters is how you apply it in certain situations.

  • This is amazing. Wish that was me..

  • how do these wushu people jump so high?

  • because they practice everyday of their lives. it's practically all they do. practice makes perfect

  • I'm impressed, I adore the perfect landings in qi ma shi. I'm jealous, wishing I were that level.

  • hey, isn't that what Chinese women used as bras in the olden days...hmm...could be wrong...

and the people screaming 'JIA YO !!' were really scary sounding...

  • 0:48 was like crazy

  • XxelguazonxX, aww you cant do those can you? ]: or are you jealous that a little kid can do better then you?

  • jealous much?

  • he would make a fukin sick hardcore dancer

  • THAT'S WHY AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW ARE ASIANS!!!!!!!! flexibility, agibility and pushing to the limit is normal since childhood! did anybody noticed why?! That answers....

  • .. ya know why .. bc our parent actually woop teh shit out of us, if we slacking off . and they actually CARE about our performance , in school or in sport or arts .

  • I can't believe I'm saying this, but this may actually be the worst wushu uniform I've ever seen.

  • wow he was moving his arms crazy fast

  • funny arguement

  • i know, right?

  • nice!

  • This could be a next jet li^_^

  • he is probably 27 years old. don't you know that asian people never age.

  • not all azns are short...

  • i said age buddy, not height. i think science determined a long time ago that age and height are two different things. sorry to burst your bubble

  • yes but its not right to steriotype and openly accuse the whole chinese race for something that only a couple people did

  • wat r u talking about? i accused no one. i said that asian people don't age. a majority of the population would take that as a compliment you idiot. you must be someone who starts accusing random crap when you have nothing to say and know your an idiot. idiot. oh, almost forgot. "asian" includes every country in the continent of asia. not just china. learn your geography buddy. maybe some science and english would help.

  • I just LOVE how people on youtube get so worked up over such small things, i didnt even insult you and you dare call me an idiot. This video was taken in china, and the things that happened in the olympic games were from the china team, so you are obviously talking about china. you also said that he is probibly older, which says that you are suspecting that he is of older age, and that he is lying aobut his age. maybe YOU should take some english lessons. People like you are the real idiots.
