Before, all of this used to be needing other tools and plugins such as Flash, Java, Shockwave etc. With HTML5 it is all incorporated into the HTML coding and no need for any other plugins.

Nothing really impressive. Drawing on a canvas... and what? We did the same on intel486 (do you remember Future Crew demos?). It wasn't in a web browser but for the end user, there's no difference (almost). I prefered to see new productive language generation instead.
