This would be the most useful thing ever if you had a bunch of empty tiny boxes that needed pushing around.

A cute novelty but it really can't make a sandwich or get beer i guess it'll be a couple more decades before robots take away all reasons for having a relationship.

@staffcarguy @staffcarguy How limited is your vision? Kites and freesbes seem like simple toys, but they were the begining of understanding the mechanics of flight, and you wouldn't fly in a 747 if someone hadn't started investigating this in a basic level.

This is exactly what they are doing here. Investigating how they can teach machines to learn and think! They are investigating theirs surroundings, just like Nao, but at a more complex level, that even you don't seem to understand.

@MrQuuem I agree,this is only a prototype for educational purposes,when they launch the commercial version after maybe 5 years it will talk to you,it will clean,say the answers of your homework heheh,cleaning the room and many other things,and this is friend version,what about the companion version or so called perfect woman, search at youtube staffcarguy with perfect woman,it may be real or not but after 10-15 years? 3 years ago there is robot violinist,2-3 years later nao,10 years later?
