Recent responses, titanium pushrods, only one cam, two valves per cylinder, gets 14.4 on the highway. in town is 8.#, though I think it could be a little higher, as the idle is set a little high (900 rpm) I believe a slower idle solution and different cam might help a little on the in town mileage (at stoplights engine is turning a good bit more than stock idle and crank fuel is up some). As for X-6s or Cayenne's, neither of them can keep up with this, though those are nice SUV's.

@stuna101a gets 14 on the highway and about 8.5 in the city. stock converter so not super loose. if it had fuel pump that came in only when boost was on, it would probably do a little better, but it is what it is. with wavetrac l/s/d and 4140 axels from Moser in the rear, the thing snaps your neck on launch, no spin at all.

You were right about one of the SUV's you mentioned, which i didnt know the specs about, the X6xdrive50i is faster. When the SRT8 came out, it was the fastest SUV in the world stock. @plutnhoj1 now has eibach springs, which lowered the vehicle and flattened the turning characteristics. that along with upgraded sway links, sway bars and urethane bushings make it a well handling vehicle for its size. No, its not a lotus exige but in the clover leafs and onramps where it pulls most of its handling duty, it does not yield or break loose yet. All of these have limits, but I've done a ride along with a professional driver in one of these in MSR Houston and it handles fine.
