I actually think that this movie is pretty sucessful, if you look at it with an artistic point of view.
Humoristically, it's not as satisfying.

@Thtyler in the first half of the 20th century in public schools an annual rugby match between the staff and the boys used to be quite common, the boys were never allowed to win. This is just a slight exaduration on how they were played.
