Hey are you going to post one of you changing/ cleaning the water? i know nothing about these tanks and i am reading up on it to start one in a year or so
That is alot of live rock. How much did you pay for all that? Where I live, that would have cost me $2170.00. Crazy I know. thats why I havent donee anything with my 110 gallon tank and only have about 60 lbs in my 75 gallon. Its so expensive, even if I get it online for $5 a pound the shipping cost gets you and the rock isnt cured. The marine store I go to charges 7 dollars a pound. I think they rip you off, but thats the only store around. Great set up, cant wait to see the end results.
yeah I did what u said I looked it up..I think some of my rock have it on them..they say to scape a bit off..shut off all the return skimmer foe a couple of houres so the power heads can more it around. Thanks for advice. I am going to try it.

Do have that rock sitting on the bottom of the tank? Or is it just on the sand?

I moved all the sand before i ADDED IT..IF U DONT THE FISH CAN DIG UNDER NEITH AND THE ROCK COULD FALL..

I got it on sale boxing day sale..4.49 apound for toga and 5.00 for indo. I paid about 1500 not bad

wow i live in victoria bc and am starting up my salt tank(fish only) and it cost $10+ a pound here

looks realy nice .. try and read up on coraline algea if u grow that in ur tank it will realy brighten up the colours. rock work looks gr8 btw
