I thought this was fantastic. It is very hard to cover Queen and Freddie's voice is really hard to do but this guy was great.  Freddie could go high and low in one note so kudos to the singer. The guitarist did a great job too.

And the singer was even built like Freddie.:)

For what it's worth. I'd rather spend my money watching these guys do the covers for all these great bands, instead of going to a concert and watching a band just do 2 or 3 hits. How else can you get to see (hear) the diversity all this great music in one night. This band is just awesome and deserves the respect of all music lovers and original artist. Very nice voice. In some parts you can't really tell the difference from Freddie's. Still this song is quite hard to cover, but this band did a perfect COPY of this song and that is not what I call a cover.

I don't like bands that copy. Really good and perfected musicians I give you that but there was only one "Queen" and you guys aint them so stop trying and COVER a song next time.

get your terminology straight.... a "cover" is just that. It's a tribute to the original artist, and the best way to pay tribute is to play as close to the original as possible. plus, most of the people WANT to hear these songs as they were originally played. that's what makes them so great! so there.

Tribute bands are a double edged sword.

IF they do justice to the original songs, then they offer a service so to speak. They can bring fans of the originals, near exact quality, or sometimes better thanks to modern electronics. The musicians aren't old and worn out either i.e. Geddy Lee just can't hit the notes anymore, but Brody can do the impression as if he was a young Geddy.

My problem with Tribute bands is that (money aside) they're gaining a 'life' of of someone elses work an art.

Excuse me!?? Freddie Mercury wrote the bloody song! This band didn't do the harmonies in the beginning. The other harmonies were not complete as well. And i don't think anyone can possibly compare themselves to the vocal quality of Freddie Mercury!

I'm not saying it was a bad cover because it was one of the best I've seen. But to make such an audacious statement like you did is just madness!

I have seen this great band in Vegas at Arizona Charlies (Decatur) Fiesta (Rancho) and they definitely kick ass! Not alot of cover bands have the balls or talent to pull off this song.
