I'm not too familiar with the US store WalMart, but if it sells computer equipment of any kind you should be able to get an Ethernet cable there.

I haven't personally used the Xbox 360 yet, but I'd imagine it's similar - the Xbox 360 has an Ethernet port also.

You can use a modem, as long as it has an Ethernet port, but the setup will be a little different.

You can get an Ethernet cable in any high street computer shop very cheaply.

That is all you need to physically connect your Xbox to the internet. If you want to play games using the Xbox Live service, you'll need an account with the service.

thanks alot who ever made this video. as u showed in this video, you can use a wireless router. i have a wireless router but i wasnt sure if it would work with XBOX live. thanks to this video i know now that you can.

You'll still need a wireless bridge I'm afraid, if you want to make your Xbox wireless.

hey i have a question i just bought xbox live im not going to get it untill saturday or sunday and can i move my wirless router down stairs if its upstairs and ot have it connected to my computer becuase i want my xbox downstairs but my router and other comp is up stairs

you'll need to keep your wireless router near where your broadband connection is.

one solution is to get a wireless bridge for your router - this can make your xbox wireless, and allow it to communicate wirelessly with you router.
