  • عاش ابا الحسين

  • you're a legend

  • الله

    الوطن

    الملك

  • I also have one more thing to say to those who dont believe in Jordan 1st. If you dont like it, leave it and if youre not Jordanian and have nothing nice to say then stay out of our business. We love his majesty and we are 100% behind him in every step he takes and behind every word he says.

  • @TruthBeSaid1 Of Course we aree!! He's the Best in the world!

  • @TruthBeSaid1 yeah dude ur totally right Jordan is in all our hearts and whoever doesnt like it leave it plz ur taking too much space ! and we're all behind our country as a whole ,, may God bless jordan and ppl who love it

  • @TruthBeSaid1 talk about ur self ... u don't represent Jordanians.

  • @TruthBeSaid1 I agree you 100% The king is a kind man and deserves respect by his people.

  • If his majesty spend half the effort that he spent trying to make a change in Jordan, if only half that effort was spent in a western or a far eastern society His majesty would have been worshiped not criticized.

  • @TruthBeSaid1 gambling, u mean he spends half of the effort gambling

  • What his majesty has said is 100% true. Most Jordanians in specific and Arabs in general are lazy if not the laziest people on earth, always expecting their governments to do everything for them and If they had the choice theyd rather sit home expecting to be rich CEOs without moving a finger, always blaming their failures on their governments.

  • cool

  • we love you king abdullah you are the best king ever

  • looooool !

he seems like one of us by criticising the jordanien govement !!

i really loved what he said and his sence of humor ...

  • i like you king abdullah

  • omg u r the best king

  • definitely :D

  • # sasprince, We got no problem following the American policy or any other policy. It doesnt matter what policy u follow, what matters is that u follow a good policy. American policy include many good aspects and many other bad aspects on the other side. So, there's no harm following the good aspects and leaving out the bad ones. 4 example, we might follow the aspects to do with women rights and legal system, but we avoid their foreign policy in interfering with others' business. Peace & love

  • @misarah01 +1 for that

  • we all love u king abdulla u r the best always

  • One of the reason we live in peace in Jordan is King Abdullah and the government's policy not to interfere in others' business. We, many of us, seek peace with all the countries including Israel. We want peace not only on papers but also on the ground with natural relations and mutual understanding. I know many are not interested in peace but this our challenge, working on the attitudes of people towards peace; things r getting better and more and more people are getting interested. Peace

  • @ sasprince. My words dont make sense to u cuz u didnt get them. I didnt say America brought about democracy to Iraq cuz they didnt. They destroyed the country, left almost a million dead and more than 5 million homeless. Many migrated, Iraqis will never forgive Americans for what they did to their country. Democracy can never be imposed by external powers, only the country's own people can create democracy. At least we live in peace and harmony, somehow, in Jordan.

  • @misarah01 talk about the double standards...isnt the king following american policy? you praise him, yet you dislike the american policy.

  • 3ala rasi men foooog jalalet sayedna allah ye7meek ya ibn 2asad al sharg jalalet al-malek hussein 6ayab allah tharah

  • Jordanians be thankful for the king you have better than the SOB we had in iraq.. What the hell is your problem ... imagine if your country was going into war every 10 years. If it was not for god and the kings of Jordan where would you be now some tents and nice caravan ride for tourists.. stop complaining. The King is right about ARABS the most closed minded pessimistic people of all time GOD BLESS KING Abdullah

  • I didnt take it as an insult simply becuz he's right about our mindset. He's willing to change and bring reform but we're not, some of us are still interested in tribal fights and honour killing for goodness sake. U wake up and smell the coffee dude. Dont be deceived my others' "democracy", America went to war in Iraq despite the whole world's objection. Democracy dude starts in the mind, when u accept others' ideas even if u dont agree with them. Good luck. We love u King Abdullah, go on..

  • What hes trying to say here is that dont take no for an answer.. he says that! hes not trying to blame others for not listening to him or trying to make fun..

and have some respect when you talk about a king even if you aren't jordanian..

  • FreeSoundJo, how many times did u comment dude, stop ur hatred and trust me u don't wanna elect ur own president cuz u're electing those extremists who will take us all down. We're lucky to have this man, otherwise, we'll turn into another Yemen or Sudan.

  • How on earth is this making fun of Jordanians? He is absolutely right in his characterization of many Jordanians. Most of us prescribe to the attitude and culture that many things cannot be done or impossible to change. We want to continue doing things the same way over and over again and expect different results. A quick look at all the comments here validates the King's comments.

  • I'll tell you how. He gave the impression that he is really pushing for reform and we (Jordanians) are holding him back. while the truth is that he is the actual source of corruption in all aspects. e.g. He rules with absolute monarchy, we don't elect our government and he surrounds himself with corrupted people .. etc. Several journalists who attended that meeting pointed that thing out . The king insulted his people and made them look like idiots in front of the whole world. Get it ?

  • @FreeSoundJo totally agree and i think that king abdullah is the stupid one.. he is a dectator of the 21st century in jordan just like his dad. ya3ni bel 3arabi el fasee7 seyaset malekna kam3eye wi diktatoreye wi bas shater yo7ot ajhezet mo5abaraat 3ashan yetjasaso 3al sha3eb wi yoshoofoo sho be7ke el naas 3alai wili be7kee ghair haik monafek wi ghabi. howa min 2ele hajait min balade. la masaare fi wala 7oreye fi. el wade3 bel 2ordon ra7 yedalo lal 2aswa2 wi hada 3ala korse el 3arsh

  • @DrArmando64

If every dog that barks I throw a stone at him, then the 1 kg of stones would be priced at JD1. Dakheelak, stay where you are and don't come back to Jordan. You will be treated as an immigrant or even worse as an ALIEN wherever you go. Jordan is a place I call home and it will always be so, with His Majesty as KING. Long live King Abdullah.

  • @DrArmando64 i totally agree, i LOVE jordan, but i think that the only thing that represents jordan r the ppl, w bs! no king, no wazeer, no mas2ool, no shit .

  • @nadine89er

    s7!

  • ALSALAM ALAYKUMI am an IRAQI ARAB CHRISTIAN i do not like the way of contributors let those contributors tell me what governor who is not corrupted all over the world SADDAM HUSSEIN our dictator was killing the people and hurt me personnel y because most of my relatives were migrated to USA but i do not hate him and say bad words .for the Jordanian i say i wish you lived in IRAQ SADDAM for a week and you will be now rejoicing yr little king whom i respect do not like a pre- judgments

  • @MrZackaz I salute you for what you just said :)

  • Its obvious from the many comments here that apart from 1 or 2 village idiots, the over whelming majority of contributors are conscious of the disgraceful behavior of the little king and how he personally encourages corruption and theft in Jordan then rubs salt to the wound by addressing Western media only to ridicule the very same people he should be striving to serve! What kind of ruler this joker is? I only wish he was given more than a walking part in Star Trek.

  • @thewinterchill : are you a jordanian or have you ever dealt personally with King Abdullah to give such judgement??

  • @moonnassar My judgment is objective sir. I am not having a rant at the king. All I am saying is he shouldn't ridicule the people he is supposed to represent. People are suspicious of officials because of widespread corruption in the country and not because they have some collective personality disorder as the king is suggesting.

  • well I am a jordanian & I live in Jordan, & I am not that much into politics by the way, but the way I see it is that King Abdullah didnt insult me or anyone in authority, he was actually talkin about a true mindset that most arabs have, they fear change, they'd rather keep doin the things they r good at & stay n their comfort zone. We need to move ahead, we need to learn how to embrace new challanges & this is clearly the massage that our King is trying to relay..

  • 6ab 7abibi sakir mashy? funny how u say well he didnt insult me...howa you have choice anyways...inta all u have to do is sit back and suck up to him....7elwa hady he didnt insult me...nice joke btw

  • i wish i can translate it into english :))))

  • Translation:

TS2 is an Arabic slang which means: Fuck NO, we tried you before, and for the last 10 yeas you've been selling the state assets and spending the money on yourself. So FUCK NO. You are the source of corruption and yet you are talking about reform, and making us look like idiots in front of the international community !! how ironic. Ts2

  • hahahaha , Best king in the world ! :)

  • best leader of a nation with the most beautiful humor. No wonder why all Jordanians love the Hashemites.

  • we need freedom in jordan, we don't want this man that they call King

  • Sounds like the King was asking for permission from those who answer "tsh" as he described. Can anyone guide me to an interview where the King speaks Arabic? there are rumors that he does not speak Arabic.

  • @amjadjjj

He doesn't speak Arabic. usually it takes him a week or two to prepare for a 30 minute speech in Arabic.

  • May the Force be with our lovely King, he's doing his best to keep us going in a tough word, all my respect to HM.

  • As for the unfounded claims, all I would say is that Jordan, under HM's rule, has prospered. Even with the economic crisis, we are blessed with positive growth much better than major global economies. God bless and protect him!

  • @RZAK76 hey easy their buddy I just came back from Jordan and I dunno wat growth ur talking about...but i gotta admit, you guys have a great begger (ur king) he knows how to beg from kuwait (the oil) and from israel (sewage water). Respect for that.

  • It takes a great man to recognise his weaknesses and laugh about them. Only then can he deal with the underlying issues and move forward. That is exactly what HM is doing. If you do not recognise what is standing in your way - and most importantly if it is self imposed, you are doomed. We do tend to be intimidated by novelties. This is not a weakness, this is simple human nature. After all dont we all tend to resist change? it falls on the leader to challenge and set the bar higher.

  • Comment removed

  • @RZAK76

It is ironic how the source of corruption in Jordan is talking about reform. you can never achieve reform without giving the people their freedom. Where in the hell do you find a country in which one man with not-very-impressive-resume controls everything .. The national debt has risen from 7.2 billion to 10 billion in the last 10 years, thanx to the expensive hobbies of your king who stops in Jordan from time to time to fill his tank and get some cash for a new adventure.

  • again to thewinterchill: I see you are very pissed off. you seem to be a very boring person, with a ridiculous personality, that you have enough time to reply and post tens of silly comments. you are free to talk shit about me how ever you wish, but do not comment reply, just post a regular comment like this. i dont wanna receive junk mail, enjoy your time.

  • @khalid198277 No Khalid boy ,I couldn't possibly get pissed off with you, you are a no body, just some invisible thing with no personality or brain so don't flatter yourself. Now do us all a favor and go back to your little hole but this time try and stay there... I know you are dying to be noticed but you are a no one......

  • THE DERTIEST RULER EVER. HIS MASEXY THE KING OF MAHASHEMITE KINGDOM OF jORDAN. المملكة الأردنية المحاشمية (الخصاوية يعني)

  • They say we can't find the money....!!!!

  • let not forget this king is not arabic he is poking fun of his own people

  • God bless you king Abdullah. What a great king with a great sense of humor! really it is true indeed that its rare to see a leader who is cool and intelligent, most other leaders are boring to listen to.

  • @khalid198277 Well Khalid I don't see him as cool or intelligent. I find him grossly irritating to go on an international forum to make fun of the very same people he is supposed to represent. People don't believe him because he is not exactly trust worthy. Every one knows he has been selling state assets and banking the money in his private account so no wonder Jordanians go (tso) and shake their heads when he speaks

  • to thewinterchill: please do not respond to my post again, i dont wanna receive spam mail to my inbox. coz i dont care what you think, there is enough space up. I like the king and love his sens of humor, if that bothers you i guess its your problem not mine.

  • @khalid198277 Ok saddo get lost and stop posting stupid rubbish here then. Crawl back to the hole you live in and stay there

  • @khalid198277

So, you like that he is making fun of your people, making you look like an idiot in front of the international community !!

  • what a playboy character.making fun of his own people in front of an international audience.never seen Putin make jokes about Russians.problem with the middle east is these half qualified , half trained heads of state .who is the case of this one can't even speak their own language.

  • @stalin1909 You are right. I doubt it very much if he can even understand what ordinary Jordanians are talking about let alone speaking for them. He is a play boy king who spends most of his time gambling away or sunning himself on very expensive yacht in Mallorca or Ibiza. The sad thing there are few here who are deluded enough to see him as some sort of hero figure. It's pathetic

  • @thewinterchill

It is pathetic. But don't forget that he is a dictator, so if you are a Jordanian either you show love to him or you and your family are gonna go to jail. This is how he rules, by fear. The reason Jordan people are saying tso (Fuck No) is because he's been selling the Jordan's real assets for the last 10 years and spending the money on his expensive hobbies.

  • @FreeSoundJo You are spot on my friend. Of course he is and I like your translation of (tso) as fuck no which is very accurate indeed. Wasn't he who first coined the idiotic slogan (al urdun awlad) or was it someone else who did it for him? I honestly can't remember but 10 years on I still find it hilarious...

  • What a great Leader, Very smart!! God Bless him!!!

  • Jordanian citizenship is the 16th most applied for in the entire world. (according to CIA factbook) !!!!

Since I read this 30 minutes ago, I haven't been able to stop laughing now my chest is hurting. It must be another gem from the jordanfirst1111 brigade. If that was the case then the population of Jordan should be higher than that of France and Germany combined. Who said that people in Jordan have no sense of humour. Will circulate this one to all my mates..Still laughing

  • I believe every society needs a village idiot and in Jordanfirst both the slogan and the person who calls himself jordanfirst1111 we have our own. We need people like that if only to remind us how much work we need to do before our societies can move forward. Coming up with diatribe her and sucking up to Abu Hussein is indicative of how bad things are at the moment. Needless to say that some just don't have a clue when it comes to saying something intelligent.

  • Comment removed

  • you shouldn't make your society as you call them a subject to others for laughing ....!!!

the noise you just made who you couldn't translate into English means desperate ( NO) .

  • This is the greatest leader a nation could have, we the Jordanians are blessed to have this king. Keep up Abu Hussein. Jordan is a nation with no natural resources, yet the Jordanian citizenship is the 16th most applied for in the entire world. (according to CIA factbook) every1 wants to be a Jordanian. we built our nation with our hands.

  • This is part of a research I have worked on about the Jordanian government. Sorry its too long but its worth reading.

    ______________________

King Abdallah II and his Royal Family have been ruling Jordan as if its their own private property for as long as they have been in the country.

  • This monarchy has been prospering from the work and struggle of the Jordanian people, who suffer from all types of financial strains as well as political persecution. This government exists in a schizophrenic state where the King, Princes, and the rest of Royal family live in extremely westernized lives and spouting endless rhetoric about the democracy and human rights to the Western media while citizens suffer from being treated not like animals but worse.

  • This country suffers from multiple personality disorders when speaking about human rights and civil rights in specific; taking into account the many cases of Jordanians who suffer from the deteriorating conditions in Jordan. These cases provide the explanation of the reason why many members of Al Qaeda are Jordanian. Jordan in itself might be safe as others noted but its known that most of Al Qaeda members are of Jordanian roots.

  • As Jordanians hold the United States accountable for their suffering of this corrupt regime which is caused by the American club of financial aid that goes towards the renovation or acquisition of new royal estates for members of the Royal Family and top government officials.

None of the Jordanian government corruption comes as a surprise since the King himself was involved in the largest theft in Jordan with his personal frined Majd Al-Shamayla ripped off

  • many Jordanian banks of more than $100 million American dollars. Of course he was helped and supported by top government officials. All of whom enjoy their lives in Jordan while the courts are prosecuting the innocent people, women and men, professionals and blue collar workers, executives and farmers, young and old, that are incarcerated and interrogated in Jordanian prisons for little to no reason at all, and certainly with no formal accusation or any pretense of a trial.

  • The King may be able to manipulate the American public that is ignorant of his regime and his tactics. He may even coerce those who do know the truth, but are too afraid to speak out. We as Jordanians must have the opportunity and the obligation to take a stand and put pressure on this government to start acting like the democracy it claims to be.

P.S. I am Jordanian who lives in the United States in search for a better decent life

  • TO thewinterchill. I bit u dont live in Jordan, corruption is in every country in the world. Jordan struggle all kinds of corruption, whether administrative or political & the simplest example is the dissolution the House of Representatives. Were a proud Jordanians coz were a people who live with dignity on their land. Jordan was & still the country that embraces brothers when theyre in misery & need. We dont exaggerate nor waver in our attitudes towards others & not 5th columnists.

  • It its irrelevant if I lived in Jordan or not. I know the country very well. I could have been living there or still living there but this is not the issue. You and I know that the parliament in Jordan is not exactly democratic so its very easy for the monarch to dissolve it at will. I am not sure you are being honest about embracing brothers. I think you have a lot of soul searching to do when it comes to how the state discriminates against its own citizens.

  • thewinterchill, Safety when compared with the region is a major attributes to the success of Jordan. Yes it is a small country that is survived on handouts but you have to agree that the Jordanian people are way much better doing than neighbor countries and the obvious proof is that everyone is moving to Jordan for many reasons mostly SAFETY. Nobody believes that we are a super power but as a small country with no competitive advantage you have to admit its supremacy because of Hashmite Family.

  • It is true that compare to Iraq Jordan is quite stable as a country but not every one is moving to Jordan. The Syrians, Lebanese, Palestinians (unless they are forced out by Israel) are not exactly lining up to move to Jordan because it is not that prosperous a country and has very little attraction as a destination. If you study history you'd soon learn that the Hashemite Family owe its existence and reign in Jordan to the creation of the state of Israel in Palestine.

  • Our beloved King abdullah <3 god bless you and your country , i wish i can meet you some day

  • Now let me add that I actually like Jordan and wish it well. I am very fond of my Jordanian friends and have many Jordanian relatives myself however, one has to keep a perspective and strive to avoid creating false impressions. I also despise this culture of sucking up to people in power and going over the top when praising rulers. All Arab countries are ruled over by tyrannical and corrupt regimes. Jordan is no exception .

  • Dear winterchill,

I'm happy that you like Jordan, I have nothing much to add to what has been said by dabbas and marinaameer, I just wanted to make it clear that i haven't landed from Mars, i've been blessed to be born and raised in Jordan, and had the chance to live and study in some of what can be considered as the superpowers of the world. Jordanians are not deluded my friend, we are fully aware of the fact that Jordan is a Third World country and that's exactly the point.

  • No one is blessed by the virtue of their place of birth my friend. Most people are born where their parents lived so its no blessing, it's just an accident of birth. Most people like the place they were born in because its familiar. There is nothing wrong in getting attached to a particular place, I love Paris and I am not even French. You can be proud of your achievement or contribution to society but not proud of where you were born.

  • Now let me ask: Is it Obama who we have to praise !!! Someone whom we have been waiting for years to bring the change, to admit after a year of being on top of the 1st power on Earth that it's impossible to meet his promises ! or is it Sarkusi, or ... or !!! I bit you understand as much as any one else cannot deny the the fact that we are only a second class humans in these superpowered countries, where the native & full rights citizens are facing prblms of getting the health services.

  • You don't have to praise anyone. Leadership is an obligation not a privilege for the few. You know that there are about 10 people who control 90% of everything in Jordan which explains the widespread corruption and the high level of poverty in Jordan. As for natives and second class citizen, I think even you can acknowledge the discrimination by the minority against the majority in Jordan.

  • somethng that most Jordanians can get for free, and I recommend to have a look at how Americans for example are qeueing for days and nights to get the free health care services. Yes corruption is there, and that's what we all hate to see in our beloved country, but does that mean that we are the only ones facing this prblm, Read the world's news my friend befor being so harsh on ourselves. yes again, we are dreaming and looking for better, but i think we should at least appreciate what we have.

  • loool !!! alla ye7meeek ya malek el moloook !!!

  • Well, his majesty ought to know that most people are skeptical because of wide spread corruption in Jordan and other parts of the M.E. I also think the king knows about that since his regime does nothing to fight corruption. In the contrary the regime owes its existence to bad management and playing people off each other like the Jordanian/Palestinian card. He first needs to clean his act then he can criticize others for not being enthusiastic enough about his policy.

  • جميل أوى الراجل ده ...ربنا يحمية ... تحية خاصة من مصر :)
