Yeah but remember, Cloud defeated Sephiroth twice once with help the other time without and after fighting Kadaj, even fighting Loz and Yazoo at the same time.

Yes, but Cloud not only had Sephiroth Cells injected into him after the Nibleheim incident... but when he received Geostigma, he also had a nice dose of Jenova cells as well.

Geostigma- Jenova's cells in the lifestream from her head that was in crater (The head Sephiroth was carrying when Cloud killed him the first time and was thrown into the life stream).

The head is also what Kadaj (A sephiroth clone) used to turn himself into Sephiroth.
