  • Morels are my favourite shroom ! Thanks for the info !

  • @SECRETBOL You're welcome . Mine are King boletes and deep fried Parasols.

  • Thanks !! That was one of the better areas I picked in that year .

  • Man I can't wait for spring!

  • Tell me about it !! You are in one of the best places for mushrooms too !! You gotta try and hook up with the Mushroom guru. One of these days I'm going to make it out there !

  • I met an old guy that lives in the woods that said he picked 3 days of pine mushrooms and made 9,000 dollars!!!!!!!

  • use a knife coward

  • Don't just pull them out of the ground! Then they might not grow back again. It's like taking the whole branch of an apple tree off just to get the apples. Pinch them right above ground, and you've increased the chances of it growing there again. Happy hunting!

  • You are correct, but it's hard to do when you are filming yourself. I most always cut them with a knife. Thanks for watching.

  • pinch those mothers off damn and let some grow long enough to develop spores shit!!!

  • Thank you for such superb advice and reasoning !!

  • im guessing by the way you said "hear the salmonella simmering away" that you cant eat these raw.

  • I think I said, can't you hear them simmering away. But you are right, you shouldn't eat any mushroom raw. With the exception of A. Campestris and A. Bitorquis, pretty much the same as store bought mushrooms.

  • hahaha willy is owned

  • Scarce is the proper spelling! Now, who is the moron? You don't kill the mycellium network of a mushroom any more then you would kill the tree, if you pulled an apple off it! Some mushrooms should be dug up for proper identification. Such as with amanitas.

  • "cut it at the stem" moron. Now I know why they are getting scarse.

  • actually now there saying u shouldnt cut it because the little plug left in the earth can start to rot and the rot can spread to the mycelium

  • Went hunting here today in sw missouri think its still a little early.Love hunting them but i cant eat them they make me real ill.:)

  • just wondering if you have ever tripped?

  • All you have to do is pinch them off and you don't damage the mycelium. Plus you cook too many at once and they get rubbery. Best to dust in flour and fry in one layer till crisp on the outside and soft inside. Thanks for sharing. What county was this in?

  • I always wanted superhero mushroom vision every spring just so I could see mushrooms when I went hunting for them.

  • Found 60 the last three days, south of lansing. workin hard to get them

  • I have'nt got out yet, but planning to go this weekend. We'll probably hunt around the Lapeer State Game area! How are you doing?

  • how is your season going?

  • CUT IT IGNORANT!!!

  • cool videos! I can't wait for the season to start. I am up in Leelanau Co and have had some really nice finds the last few years.

  • cut the morel at the base and leave the past that is in the dirt in the ground! Nice finds on this trip! The season is near!!!

  • I was wondering how long it would take someone to comment on proper picking tech. Normally I don't pick morels that way . I cut them off at the base. Good eye though!
