Yeah at first you think, Wheels is being stalked by a mulleted perve. But it turns out to be is birth father, Mike, whom he has never met (he was given up at birth). KCTS in the states must have banned this episode because I didn't see this one until 1996 on TRIO. It was neat seeing more of Wheels's adoptive parents who are rigid and a bit nerdy, yet very loving and want the best for Wheels. Wheels is a very good boy.

@HiyyalTZmary There was a "Degrassi Elementary" series...called Kids On Degrassi Street. (it came before DJH)Caitlin, Wheels, Suzie, Alex and a couple others were on it as little kids. But they had different names. You can watch it on Youtube. From late 70s to a few years before DJH. Therefore...Degrassi has been on forever.

Degrassi was the kick up the 80s that teens needed. Sign o' the times. It did not shy away from the issues.

It's too bad the BBC wimped out after the first season. It would have gotten some recognition and some awards.
