There is a way to check if the flow is too high...you can find that by keeping an eye on your corals. If the flow is too high they will stay closed and barely open up. You said you've got bubbles...are they bubbles bubbles or micro bubbles? I had this problem after a while of using skimmer...it was just weird. I couldn't find was wrong. In the end everything's gone back to normal and since then I didn't have any problem. I dunno maybe just lower the flow a bit and wait few days.

  • im having alot of trouble with my 75g saltwater tank there are way to many bubbles i have a 180 remo skimmer, aqua clear 150,and a canister is this to much water flow going into the tank???

  • explain betteri have trouble as well with my seaclone pro skimmer giving me micro bubbles as well

  • yh you get that problem when you add a skimmer to the river reef, its not that bad for your fish but it just deosnt really gve a good effect to the water, well thats what i think but everyone got different opinions, point the top inlet pump to the top of the water surface for water agitation to cause good gas exchange and also i found out that the bottom inlet pump if you take out the black hose thing lol you get good flow around the sand bed, might stir the sand bed abit though. ill post a vid
