my daughters name is also Ava(Ava Jaelea Grace) ans she also was born with full trisomy 18. we just celebrated her 1st b-day feb. 26. it's great to hear stories about other children doing well with trisomy 18.

Yes. They didn't know how much she would be affected until she was born (and of course told them they should consider terminating). A few heart problems they corrected with surgery, and one funny toe. So far so good :-) I have a new video to upload where she is standing, and cruising around, and she climbs up stairs with the railing now - 14 months old!

She is so cute. I wonder why there is such a difference between the regular T 18 and the mosaic. It is the same with Down's syndrome and DS mosaic. I am glad she is doing so well.

yes.now21/2 doing GREAT.....a miracle. Talking sentences, connnectedto people going to regular preschool...etc
