I was just finishing my two years National Service when this came out and when many other great singers were making themselves known. What great times they were then. Cannot beat beautiful memories and good entertainers and great voices along with the great bands of that era. Sigh!!
@rkt739 This was a remake of his first hit recording back in 1947, they tried to moderize it as Tommy Edwards did with his "All In The Game" but it wasn't as good. He started out with 50;s Pop and Jazz, his Cowboy stuff came later.
@rkt739 Don't be selfish -why shouldn't he upload songs such as this - that others of us LOVE?! I think Frankie could do no wrong but I especially love his ballads.
Really interesting alternative to the one you (and I!) prefer on the "Rockin" album. That Paul Weston arrangement is one of the best charts to come out of the 1950s! Do you plan to put that one up also?

Your very welcome. This version is quite different from what he did on Mercury. But I like the "Desire" recording on his "Rockin" album best.
