why do they need cfw for phat versions,that can download games even without it?

My psp custom firmware is 5.50 Gen-A. I tried to play littlebigplanet on it but it always says "Game could not be started". is there a problem with my custom firmware? if i need to upgrade to a higher cw will i still be able to play old games? please help

hey i think that all psp phats r hackable if u really want cfw then look up on google or youtube how to make pandora battery. its very easy and u wont brick ur psp.trust me.

theres somthing called chickHEN soon gona be R3 for psp fat and slim 5.50 0r 5.51 but well have to wate till it comes out il tell you when its out

Hey nhdrummer1

You should really use a pandora battery

an a magic memory stick. I recommend to not use chickHen because that can give a lot of trouble. And when hackers brick your PSP, they nearly all give you a new one. When you brick it yourself, they won't give you a new one XD
