This song reminds me of my friend kayla who died n 2008 because of cancer, she was strong loved life and never took a second of living 4 granted, she's my inspiration!! A little before she passed away her parents asked her if she could have anything what would it b, and she said help with her math, out of anything she could ever want that's what she chose!!! So ate math teacher came 2 her n the hospital and helped her as she was slowly passing away.

Reminds me of my friend whom I went to school with in elementary school. She passed away during the winter of 2005 she was 8 years old, she died about 15 days before her 9th birthday. she was one of the most giving people ive ever known, she loved nature (including butterflies) and was always doing something to help nature. John and Kenny loved it .when they got home they recorded it.They made copies for her family and friends.I have one of these cds. They did all kinds of things with her including taking her to the prom. They wrote this song for her befor she died.

I'm glad to hear you're cancer free! This is such a beautiful song. In high school I was president of our Sparrow Club - schools "adopt" a sparrow, or a child in desperate need of medical treatments and his/her parents can't afford it so the school raises money. When the Sparrow is introducted at the begining of the year, there is a slideshow presentation and this song was used in one for a little girl who had been abused as a baby and had several problems. She's doing well now though =)
