The serrated version is available at wal mart, I picked mine up for $30!!! I would recommend this knife 110% to anyone looking for a good durable knife. The blade is razor Sharp tight out if the box so be careful
Oh BTW dude, excellent coverage of shot show!!! Really good stuff for those of us who can't be there. Do you have more than one camera operator? It seems like you covered a lot of ground, I hear SHOT is pretty big!
Nice knife but I don't like how the rep just says it's "high carbon steel" that could be anything from L6 to 1095 to a bunch of poorer quality high carbon steels. I really can't judge the price based on "high carbon" as my only reference for the steel. I'd be much happier if Gerber would come out and tell us exactly what steel is being used

@ rooftopeagle
Thanks, we brought 5 people (and a friend or two who helped too)
SHOT is huge and takes a lot of time / people / cameras / batteries to cover it..
of course no one can do it all, but we did better than we have in the last 5 years
And we are already starting to plan how to do even better in 2011
