  • we roasted marshmallows in my science class when we first used a bunsen burner lol

  • im in school and im watching this

  • I just did this today and i am 13 and in eighth grade!!!!!!

  • Did this at school on 11

  • You shouldn't light a Bunsen burner with the air port open... you should light it on the yellow flame.

  • 4 minute tutorial how to turn on gas and light a burner :))

  • ahhhhhh he burnt my camera!!!!!!!

  • How I light a Bunsen Burner:

    1. turn on gas

    2. light the gas with a lighter

  • @ThaRealKalimpa nooo a striker not a lighter-.-

  • I love school =)

  • i had to watch this for school ):

  • Maby not a good idea to stick your head right beside the gas comming out of the bunsen? XD

  • Roll your sleeves up, that's a safety hazard.

  • This video reminds me of one of my mates at school.

Some kid who never listened, constantly bunked and smoked but everybody liked him and all the girls wanted him.

One time he got kicked out of Science class for using his burner to light a fag.

Teacher kicked him out, and i never saw him again after.

Apparently he was expelled and last i heard he was on the doll.

  • this is borring. we only got to watch it not do anything else lyk actually do it! bboorrrrriiiinnnnnnnggggggggggg!!!!!:P

  • i did this at school today but i was too chicken to do that i was afraid i burn myself

can u burn ur self like htat ?

  • omg all you need to do is plug in the gas pipe to the gas tap ...make sure that when you light it it is on a orange/yellow flame and when boiling or lighting stuff make sure it is on a blue flame or a rawring flame ..done :)

  • Cool vid, I'm watching my for Chemistry but speak alittle bit more louder I could barely hear. Nice helpful usefull video man. Thanks.

  • This is not the safety flame! You forgot to mention that the air supply must be shut. The flame should be luminious and yellow when lighting the burner!

  • I wish this video had been around when I was teaching microbiology labs. You wouldn't think proper use of the striker would be such a hard concept but alas, it is....
