I too love IKEA and miss it terribly... when I lived in Vancouver I was a quick 20 min. drive away and kinda took it for granted, but now that I am back in Victoria I really miss it as we don't have one here.
I really like the head board shelving unit you got... looks great.
Don't you just LOVE IKEA instructions?!... an allan key and 3 pictures (the only down fall).
@scorp8pus Glad you like it! I thought about filming myself putting it all together, but the metal shelving unit took about two hours, and the bookcase/headboard one hour. I suppose I could have edited it, but whatever. I had to drive two and a half hours both ways, but it was better than going to Schaumburg, IL, which was nearly four hours one way. Yup, an allen (allan?) key and pix...but it worked!!!
@scorp8pus And Daphne and I appreciate your love...forgot to mention Summit my kitty cat, but wisely, she kept out of my room while I as assembling the bookcase!
@scorp8pus I'm sure she will...either in one of the shelves or on top. I named her Summit because when I first got her she wanted to be on top of everything...she used to climb all the way up me to the top of my head.
