Why do people think she's in so much danger, she obviously domesticated it for over a decade and it showed no interest or aggression, people just think, oh she's holding a snake, she's in mortal peril
prony here would not weigh anymore than 110 to 120kg,to be 200kg she would literally have to double the girth of my near 22ft female and my female has a 25in girth and weighs 100kg so only 5in smaller in girth than prony here, also prony does look over 20ft but i very much doubt shes actually 24ft
sumatrans, sulawesi, javans, malays, borneo etc etc anywhere with large land mass and large suitable prey will produce locales over 20ft on occasion,in captivity there have been more 20ft+ javans and sumatrans than the other large locales but this is likely been down to availability throughout the years, marcy is the longest sula ive seen at approx 22ft,out of the larger locales its impossible to say which average the longest as we are only scratching the surface really
sumatrans are much more likely to exceed 20ft than sulawesi. i only know of one female sulawesi retic called marcy at san antonio zoo that exceeded 20ft. males sumatrans almost always get over 15ft and females can easily surpass 18ft in lenght. but i do belive javans, and borneos can also surpass 20ft and i was talking about large locale captive retics usally reach 150lb. and sumatrans are the biggest locale of retic the longest captive is snake is a sumatran retic called fragant flower 22.9ft
all of you guys are wrong the largest species of retics are sumatran and females average 17-20ft in lenght and 150lb. and the so called 550lb anaconda was actually never weighted it was just a estimate.
DONT LET IT COIL AROUND YOUR NECK OR BODY!IF IT DOES,TAKE A DEEP BREATH,AND HOLD IT,THEN GET THE SNAKE OFF YOU,ONCE UR FREE RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY OR LOCK IT IN ITS TANK OR ROOM!
Her Retic needs some antibiotics. I have a Burmese that big, WEISER. She lets me help her when it's time to shed. She also has her own bedroom with a kingsize heated waterbed.
@souldiesoul The snakes mouth is bulging open and you can see the white flesh of the inside of its mouth. A snakes mouth should close completely, Mouth rot causes swelling, it could also be an infection cause by a cut in its mouth. its treatable though, i understand that she probably cant get top notch care for this animal but there are things you can do to help it
@algolagnian How sad.... I've watched this video over and over and I noticed it also I just figured you knew more about the video than just those watching it on You Tube. I also noticed someone commenting feeds it dogs?? Lol did i miss something ?
Yah shes domisticated. Obviously, your the person that feeds her. Shes a gorgeous animal, and even if she is sheding soon she shouldnt be THAT shade of dark, she should be a dark grey, if not a lighter grey. Her jaw line is crooked and her mouth is swollen. This animal needs a vet and afterwards needs to be taken to a VERY BIG forest/jungle. And the fact her mouth is swollen explains the fact why she didnt bite you when you poked her throat trying to show her off like a throphy >.<
wow you could see the bond she has with that snake. Just look at how it perks up when she kisses it. I love snakes but there is no way in hell my parents'll let me have one heh heh.
Am I the only one who noticed that the snakes mouth is really swollen and for a retic (reticulated python) it is obese. The snake is in terrible condition and should be taken to a vet. I keep reticulated pythons and when I see one kept like this I get fucking angry. And thats no "24feet long" it looks almost 20ft if that.
@nateDawg12346 You can't tell what type of snake it is and you own a retic? If you own a reticulated python take it to a reptile rescue and give it away. You clearly need more experince. I did an entire year of reaserch before I even thought about getting a retic not to mention the 20+ snakes I owned before getting into retics. Ignorant owners of these amazing animals like yourself are the reason for laws such as the python ban in flordia. Little do you know you're ruining our hobby.
@mason1291 I would love to but don't have a video camera right now. There are a few pics of mine and tons of pics of other peoples on face book on the "retic keepers!" page.
@tapdancegirl88 that is a mest up thing to say, u would rather see a person die than an animal, its true its mest up to feed it dogs since dogs are lovable animals but u gotta understand snakes gotta eat just the same as dogs and people gotta eat we are all meat eaters but atleat human and dogs can also eat wheat products and vegetables and fruit snakes only eat meat!
@tapdancegirl88 why you would ever wish that upon someone is beyond me, she's invested in this snake like a responsible owner for many years, gotten it a big cage, and keeps her pet healthy and happy, i can only wish more pet owners would be cheerful and loving towards their pet like this woman. your scorn is unnessisairy, she loves her pet.
Stupid woman! you cant "domesticate" a snake. its not the same as a dog or cat. they will always have the instinct to kill and constrict anything it thinks it can subdue
@DJmixmastermicro wit all due repect doesnt that snake look domesticated to you, a wild snake that size would have killed her and ate her in an instint, the snakes is domesticated because it doesnt see people as food but somebody it can rely on....plus there are more dog attacks on people especially on little kids than any other animal in the world!
@MrSerpent89 Its not domesticated though, it is tamed/acclimatized. Domestication is a genetic process over several generations in which we alter the animal to our liking (doesnt mean it has to be tame), this is probably not a captive bred snake, if it was it might have been domesticated (as the pet snakes that have been held by us for many generations are). But it deffo hasnt been domesticated by this women, she hasnt changed a thing on a gene level just on a phenotype level.
let it perform in a circus. some people writing comments should first search for "baby killed by family dog". so whom can you trust more, a dog or a snake?
omg terrible conditions at least give it somewhere to hide and a water bowl and did you see the scale rot on the underside!!! i hope this sake eats the owner
They say even the largests pythons may have trouble consuming an adult man, because of his shoulders. I don't think that thing would have any trouble!!!
the only reason y it hasnt attacked is b/c its not hungry. better keep that snake well fed! 11 years or not, if that mother fucker gets hungry it will eat ur ass with no hesitation!
Actually it's not that dangerous if the snake is about to shed. Snakes that are about to shed don't eat at all. There's still a risk of biting and injury but I think she's aware of it. Experienced handler maybe? hehe
@10415645 Thats untrue. Many snakes eat while in shed. Only a small amount of mine (about half a dozen) refuse food while in shed. My retics ALWAYS eat when food is offered.
However, handling large snakes (like the one in the vid) while in shed is very risky. A normally placid snake can become very grouchy, and may strike.
The woman in the video isn't the brightest flower in the garden. Getting that close, and kissing a snake of that size is pure stupidity. It is a WILD animal, and they don't feel guilt. If that snake grabbed hold of her, the chances of removing it before serious injury or death, is very slim.
A 'tame' snake is never 'tame'. They are stil very capable, and willing to bite, or even kill. Putting yourself in more danger is just silly.
@DemonLDR clearly u speak out of ignorance. knowing when and how to aproach any animal is the key. as a very NOT wild animal this amazing creature has gotten used to not being defensive. as the clearly EXPERIENCED handler knows.do u always speak insulting hollow words? quit trolling i look for educated comments and get tired of trolls grammar police ignorence and plain rudeness. u ruin the concept of sharing info and thoughts on a thing like youtube. i keep several snakes but u know more huh?
@jackboy378 You've obviously not looked at what I keep, and what experience I have. I keep/breed LOTS of snakes. These include burms, retics, anacondas. I also keep venomous snakes, including some of the most dangerous ones on earth. Chances are, I feed more snakes in one week, than you will in a year! Keeping 'several snake' does NOT make you an expert. Going by your reply, your knowledge is matched by my 3yr old son. When posting a comment, its best to know what you're talking about first.
this woman was found inside the 24ft long python, 11 days ago, LOL, thats what the news headlines will say one day. Her or anyone else is fooling themselves if they think that they are completely safe around snakes like this.
Wow that would be awesome to keep an animal of that magnitude and with a reputation such as pythons that large! I'm sure it eats a lot of chicken and the enclosure looks like a good size.
Problem is...the owner really believes that monster is domesticated. People this 'trusting' invariably have a pet cat, dog, or whatever get eaten by their snake and wonder why the snake did it. Hopefully it won't be an infant.
@TheTemest I agree with you. I have pet snakes and I will tell you, if they mistake you for FOOD.. they won't let go of you without a little help. They may be used to you.. but they are never are domesticated. I bet if she waked in there and it was hungry one day, he would mistake her for food in an instant.. and with one that big, all it takes in once.. She shouldn't feed her damn snakes a dog either. Pigs should do fine
Even if that happens to be the tamest snake in the world it's still never a good idea to run up on it making noise and grabbing it's head first. It's not worth the chance
retics here are usually hunted for food by the locals, tastes like chicken.. but be sure when you go out there, just pray to be lucky for if not, you might end up with a big one and you be the prey instead..just search the news wherein some humans, particularly natives who hunt fruit bats, end up as food for these giants.. ;)
its a reticulated python locally named "Sawa" or "Bitin - means "hang", cause it usually hangs from big trees in the forests, with its tail on the branch, head down waiting for an unwary prey, usually found in the Philippines.. some reaches 30-40 feet long in the mountains.. and since Retics in the tropics are very temperamental, people should give it much Respect.
I have never seen a snake that big that domesticated. I have 11 snakes, 6 of which was born in my care that I raised from birth and I touch their head, I will get bit. That lady must have saved that snake from a near death incident or something.
as fat and happy as that snake seems, it looks like it has mouth rot, something not too uncommon in pet snakes, mouth rot is a result in unproper living environments, good job lady, you love your snake enough to keep it in that grade A cage and feed it animals that can hurt it.................
live or dead the animal rats or whatever snakes eat were once alive either way so they die either way being killed by a snake isnt 2 inhumane for them considering in most cases its a pretty quick process

littelG333 1 year ago
Wow that would be awesome to keep an animal of that magnitude and with a reputation such as pythons that large! I'm sure it eats a lot of chicken and the enclosure looks like a good size.

oh fuck me that's AMAZING.

@tapdancegirl88 Fuck off you racist cunt! Also, how is the snake dumb? Not its fault its being fed is it! I hope a 'dumb snake' kills you one day.
johnnybigdick69 1 year ago
Problem is...the owner really believes that monster is domesticated. People this 'trusting' invariably have a pet cat, dog, or whatever get eaten by their snake and wonder why the snake did it. Hopefully it won't be an infant.
TheTemest 1 year ago
@TheTemest I agree with you. I have pet snakes and I will tell you, if they mistake you for FOOD.. they won't let go of you without a little help. They may be used to you.. but they are never are domesticated. I bet if she waked in there and it was hungry one day, he would mistake her for food in an instant.. and with one that big, all it takes in once.. She shouldn't feed her damn snakes a dog either. Pigs should do fine

Even if that happens to be the tamest snake in the world it's still never a good idea to run up on it making noise and grabbing it's head first. It's not worth the chance

u can train a wild animale but u cant tame um there like loded guns

retics here are usually hunted for food by the locals, tastes like chicken.. but be sure when you go out there, just pray to be lucky for if not, you might end up with a big one and you be the prey instead..just search the news wherein some humans, particularly natives who hunt fruit bats, end up as food for these giants.. ;)
DenniSTurB 1 year ago
its a reticulated python locally named "Sawa" or "Bitin - means "hang", cause it usually hangs from big trees in the forests, with its tail on the branch, head down waiting for an unwary prey, usually found in the Philippines.. some reaches 30-40 feet long in the mountains.. and since Retics in the tropics are very temperamental, people should give it much Respect.

AwesomeM3000 1 year ago
I have never seen a snake that big that domesticated. I have 11 snakes, 6 of which was born in my care that I raised from birth and I touch their head, I will get bit. That lady must have saved that snake from a near death incident or something.
fatguyinlittlecoat86 1 year ago
i wonder how much affection they show, and how intelligent they are.
blowtorchacurlyfry1 1 year ago
as fat and happy as that snake seems, it looks like it has mouth rot, something not too uncommon in pet snakes, mouth rot is a result in unproper living environments, good job lady, you love your snake enough to keep it in that grade A cage and feed it animals that can hurt it.................
zach01313 1 year ago
...this snake seems unhealthy to be...and I'm by no means an expert, it just doesn't look right

live or dead the animal rats or whatever snakes eat were once alive either way so they die either way being killed by a snake isnt 2 inhumane for them considering in most cases its a pretty quick process
