so honestly is it worth it or not? i make dubstep dnb electro etc. i do like dynamics but i also like fatness and volume. also when you did the video you should have showed the peak volume with and without the sausage and then adjusted the volume with the sausage to match. this way you can eliminate the loudness sounding better. since usually, louder sounds better to our ears. whenever i add any fx i always match the peak levels with and without the fx and compare that way.

I don't use this... ever... except on my basslines. The plugin had just came out and I got an early product and was able to do a review for people. I used it on ALL applications I could think of. Also, there is NO wrong way to do music. As long as it sounds good, that's all that matters.

@trancertrance Unfortunately it's a reflection on todays music industry. If your track isn't loud it simply won't be noticed by many people. It sucks but that's the way it goes.

This plug in is nothing more than a standard (or worse) limiter that comes with most DAWs. The guy reviewing it basically by driving the Fatness knob has increased input by around 12db RMS which totally killed all the transients. If you were to level match the two the result will be 'not so hot'. All you are hearing is extra input smashed into a brickwall limiter ;)

IMPORTANT! Something I left out of the vid like a nub was cutting down the gain in the Sausage Fattener. You can turn the Fattness to 100% and get that super fat sound and by turning the gain down will keep whatever you are fattening from becoming too distorted from the angry sausage.
