If love and compassion are not Biblical. If forgiveness is not Biblical, and if loving your neighbor as yourself is not Biblical, and if loving your enemies is not Christ centered, then I do no know what is. @MaChOfSweden - No; it's martyrdom. I don't recommend it. I don't care much for it anway because of the displeasure it has brought in my life. What's more; it's really not biblical. The Bible talks about forgiveness and love, but it talks about so much more as well. This is an "only if" mentality in a world that has never came close to if. It'll never happen. Love and forgive but never trust or forget.

Humans want peace. This is natural. Sometimes we are blinded by greed and the here and now and when people slide there is no telling how far they can fall.

Beautiful and great "food for thought"! I've been reading the book Spirit Matters by Lerner and it speaks of all these things as well--about how to really change the nature of commerce, politics, etc rather than just glossing over with a veneer of love and joy. We can DO THIS!
