Yeah. There's a slime knight monster right outside the waterfall cave that respawns when you go in and out of the cave. You can earn yourself a quick 20exp per battle that way.

I don't know what to say about Dragon Quest as a series, but this one (VIII) was definitely a pretty cool entry.

I found a simply way to kill this fish thing. Yangus should heal and The Hero should use Pysche up or however you spell it. And when your tension gets to 50, attack the fish thing. And you hit 50's. Repeat this process and in a couple of turns the fish thing will be dead. But this way is good too.

Man, that crystal ball must've been made of some SERIOUSLY hard stuff to caused enough brain damage on that guy to mess up his speech. Probably even caused to lisp. o_O

For some ppl, 100 tension appears at first dungeon. There's like a 5% possibility.

DOG before fighting gyser go to the top of the waterfall there is a scout/historian on top who gives you cheeses. use the cheeses on gyser and kick his tail!
