for 10 x 24 draw a "zero" line represented by a wavy line or something..and whereever it intersects other lines it has a value of zero...this is all new to me, but it worked for me that way...someone correct me if i'm wrong.

It's a cool method, but there is no way it be faster than the "standard algorithm" I hope they are still teaching you guys in elementary school.
