This was one of my favorite shows growing up and I never knew that the actress that played buffy would also be on one of my favorite tv shows when I'm a teenager and on one of my favorite movies when I was little also. She's such a great actress!!!!

Thank you for posting. Shows like this gave those of us growing up in violent, neglectful homes something to dream about. Now a parent myself, my husband (not abused) & I provided this kind of loving, supportive, environment for our own precious children. It's unfortunate that Anissa didn't receive the emotional guidance she needed. A life ended too soon. However, Heaven welcomed her & this show, her gift to the world, continues to allow her spirit to shine. Best Wishes & Peace to ALL.

That was the style back in the mid 60's-early 70's, girls didnt wear any undergarmets under their clothing. Keep in mind this was a very different era, the internet wasn't invented, and there werent much pedophiles around.Besides you really can't see anything, and if you noticed she put her hands on her front. If you think thats bad, on season 2 of the brady bunch, Cindy's skirt came all the way up when she was sitting on Carols lap, and you could see her entire bare front.

My typical undergarments of that time were panties and a t-shirt or sleeveless vest. If wearing a dress or skirt, then panties and slip.

@TheNeonAngel This is a show called "Family Affair" that came out in 1968, and it was very popular, and I loved the show, and I am about the same age as the twins, Buffy and Jody. Brian Keith, played their Uncle Bill or as Jody calls him "Unca Beowl", (lol) and he was in the original "Parent Trap" with Haley Mills and Maureen O'Hara. This show was and still is a beautiful show, and it always tugs at the heart and puts a smile on your face. Thanks for posting!

How could anyone criticize such a sweet show? So what if it wasn't completely realistic? Very few shows are, then or now. Uncle Bill did projects all over the world. Being a confirmed bachelor who traveld so much, he met Mr. French along the way. He probably saw many butlers in Europe and didn't think it odd for a man living in a high rise apartment to have a butler. If you don't like Family Affair, don't watch it. Your mom isn't making you anymore. Watch some other show that's more your speed.
