when escaping, take the shortest route from point A to B. (don't zig-zag and avoid all pedestrians that can block your escape. run into the traffic if neccessary. you have to cut corners or else the police will do that for you and close the gap. if they've lost sight of you immediately take a car or hide on a roof. when the coast is clear come down, get a car and gun and go to California (in this guy's case), or Alaska, avoid interstates, there will be blockades, so take back roads. I got away.
now the officer or the C.O. who didn't cuff this guy or shakle him properly should be fired. no union protection, no 30 day rest in the 122, 120 or 123. Imagine if this went on in a private sector job. Fire the person responsible and save the taxpayers from paying a slacker.
