  • Your music is truly amazing. i find myself lost in someplace i can't describe on a search for something and at the same time i feel your music has so much meaning and feeling to it. i play guitar myself and i wish i could pour my emotions out with music just as you do. well props man, keep discovering the amazing worlds behind what your creating:)

  • @MrCoolarun he can teach you some lessons, but a very small portion of them are free. If you really want to learn his music, you'll have to pay - which I think is fair

  • Really inspiring so keep it up.

  • How did you even get this good?. How do you even start.. Christ.

  • Nice work with the loop..The guitar speaks for itself..Very creative..

  • Pretty fly. The straight rhythm looping is a really good idea.... *Runs to guitar*

  • Hey John, i just found out about you 5 minutes ago, and i just bought your album 1 minute ago. Cant wait to hear it!

  • God, your soul is dancing with your fingers,strings.... I want to see your face!

  • When playing, do you have to compensate for the weight of the camera or do you not really feel it?

  • what kind of guitar is this ? i really want to know

  • @ladyangie15

    I've heard it's a flamenco guitar. Cordoba 55FCE.

  • Knowing that this guy has a CD that I could buy adds yet another reason to the miserable list of things that make me hate having no money.

  • El bailoteo de las cuerdas, la extrema precision de las manos, el sonido calido... la guitarra es el instrumento mas bonito que existe, y tu eres un fenomeno, esta composicion es tuya?

The dancing of the ropes, the extreme precision of the hands, warm sound ... the guitar is the most beautiful instrument there, and you're a phenomenon, this composition is yours?

  • @livingeasi what do u think he does when he is not playing guitar ?^^ its called " getting inspiration ";)

  • you are an insperation to young guitarist in the spanish/classical styles such as myself your pieces are constructed so wonderfully keep making beautiful music

  • @livingeasi Hey I've been playing classical guitar since 2007 and I have yet to pick up a girl. It is far more different that you think it is my friend :P

  • @divinegod102 lol just because you play doesnt mean you can make a guitar your bitch like this guy does

  • @mastercueartist I never said I'm that good at classical guitar. I believe you miscomprehended what I was trying to imply.

  • Without music, life would be a mistake.

Without John Clark, music would be a mistake.

  • @AvanLotharion nd ur very mistake u came out with an error

  • @AKASLOVERBOY Troll. Please everyone, do not reply to this person's message. It will only be feeding the troll.

  • cool

  • @MrFantasioSpirou the strumming patter is a something John calls "basic latin strumming" I could explain it to you but john clarke has a tutorial for it on his channel....

  • this song is in standard tuning hopefully? but I cannot get the exact same sounds as you, is it standard, or something else?

  • @livingeasi Not true. Thats what I thought, but then playing guitar sorta outshines getting pussy. Luckily you can learn the E Am and C chords and you'll get more pussy than any great guitar player.

  • I like your shadow...

  • I like your shadow...

  • John, do you still use hard tension strings?

  • ...thats not the same tuning as you can hear in the studio version, right?

  • the strings seem so loose, why is that? do you use some special kind of strings? because mina dont wobble that much not even when hitting them as hard as you can!

  • surprised no one has asked this question yet: how long do you have to grow your nails? is there a special way of maintaining them for effective strumming?

  • Mr.Clarke, how did you do the strumming in this song?

  • Soooooooo good.

  • best vid you have put out, good stuff man you do work on that guitar

  • ah spain the soul of the world as we know it...viva spain! congratulations Spain world champions 2010 xoxo

  • Mr.Clarke, how did you do the rhythm after the intro? I mean the right hand. I canna see... :P

  • @MrFantasioSpirou

he utilises some kind of recording tool which he uses with his feet

  • @Highduken If I'm correct, it's a looping pedal.

  • @Highduken Err, I mean the strumming. How did he do?

  • @MrFantasioSpirou

    with his hands.

he records the strumming at the beginning

  • all I can say is: Amazing!

  • I think this is my favorite :)

  • These videos are amazing!

Btw, how many hours do you practice a day?

  • I like this version better. The drumming patterns add to the feel of the music... Wish I had been there to see you play this.

  • Another great one John, thanks again.

  • Is it just me or the strings are dancing?

  • this is my favorite song from you bro!

  • cannot stop listenin to this song!

  • im guessing playing guitar brings you great joy, im no where close to your level but i can imagine how fun it would to be to play this, i envy you :D

  • Wow.. Amazing.. But how low is the tunning? I ask because the strings bounce more than usual.. at least in my opinion...

  • @crackmeng THIER NYLON

  • @crackmeng

the tuning isnt low at all..

  • I assume you use a looping pedal. If so, which one?

  • i am in love with this song!

  • its not that i dont like it.. but from what i ve heard of your songs, this one seems to be a backward (reverse) version of fuerte in a way.. btw i m learning classical guitar and always see ur videos for inspiration .. hope we jam someday.. peace !

  • nice playing!!! and skillful use of the looper xD

  • i like the hat on your shadow

  • Awesome

  • Way to go brother... Gotta get a looper...

  • so great!! 5 stars! and I wonder - Is that the same strumming pattern you usually use in many other songs?

  • this is madness

  • Amazingness!

  • Ahi dios mio! Muy bonita!

  • Another great hit by the master of spanish guitar, J. H. Clarke!

However, I would prefer the first part of the piece to not have any of the percussive background...

  • Interesting this sounds different than the other version of revolution on your channel. Maybe it's because of all the awesome palm mute looping. Either way man, great job with this song, it is my favorite from the songs you write.

  • Beautiful man :D
