Lets straighten up what an Alford plea is since these guys are lying thru their teeth about it. An Alford plea is when you plead guilty to a LESSER CHARGE, while acknowledging that the state has enough evidence and that a jury would probably still find guilt to the GREATER CHARGE. You do not maintain your innocence of the lesser charge, which in this case is first degree murder, but of the greater charge, which in this case is capital murder. Its a case of 'saving money' not 'saving face'.

I never once believed the (3) killed those poor boys. The system is a shameless joke and these (3) had no money and so the system had to have someone go to pen. The reason the proscutor agree to this was to save face. They new now it doesnt matter about the court of law its now about the court of public opion if they public and media think your guilty your guilty as sin, but they think you're innocent you become these you get help

I love the WM3!! They deserve to be free! I am so sorry that these 8 year olds were murdered. But it is not progress to send two innocent people to prison and a teenager to death row!!

I'm deeply glad the guys are free, but officials from the State of Arkansas basically insisted that the guys incriminate themselves with Alford pleas in order to regain their freedom. It's a legal fraud which let state officials get out from under the embarrassing publicity which the case engendered. Better for their political careers this way.

When i saw eddy there i cried. That is so...fucking...cool that that man saw they were innocent and helped with everything he had. There were some BIG guns that came to the aid of the wm3. Depp, eddy, natalie and so many more. So glad to see these guys free.

I'm very happy these men are set free !! I'm only 21 so at the time this was all happening I did not follow the case. My sister was the one who actually told me to watch the documentaries so I did. And I was actually yelling at the tv because the lack of evidence there was heh. But from what I seen from them they are 3 free men now !! Enjoy your lives now guys, there is still much to live ! And Damien enjoy your beautiful wife and daughter! They deserve ya back !!

It truly seems that Jason is a real stand-up, smart, committed fellow. I, personally, feel that if I knew I was guilty and they offered me anyway out of jail, I'd take it immediately! But with him, he wanted to fight. That speaks volumes to me. But the fact still remains that 3 innocent little boys were brutally murdered and no one is serving time for it. Hopefully justice will be served.

WoW Damien has a lot of lawyers and company. I thought Damien got new glasses for the press conference because of the tint, but I saw he had the same glasses in a jailhouse interview; and I wonder why he needed tinted glasses.

I've heard both Jason and Damien say the names of the murder victims and to me that speaks volumes.

And is that woman who walks to stand behind Jason his wife?

@LyricalXilence i think he probably needs a tint in his glasses because his eyes would have adjusted to a serious unantural light for almost 2 decades (with only an hour of natural light). so i would assume that the light outside of his cell would have been hurtful to his eyes until they re-adjust. i'm not saying that's right, but that would be my guess.
