The ancient Greeks, Egyptians and Babylonians knew algebra. Muslims did not invent it; but they did reintroduce it to mainstream European thought.

if you think that Europe and everything Europe had a part in creating (the united states, canada, south africa, australia ect) was not almost exclusively influenced by Christianity in terms of religion than you have to be profoundly delusional.
