I was a state delegate at the KY Convention I wanted to point out that State Chair Steve Robertson did not allow anyone to speak and other delegates cheered. The state convention in 2008 is all about being a pep rally and not actually the actual work of the party or the people. This was not the case in past conventions whether it was 1996 or 2000. In irony, NOT even McCain supporters will allowed to speak. Sadly, freedom of speech is dead in the Republican Party of KY.
I truly hope the folks in kentuc read this, for I am not only going to not vote rebub this year but double it up and hold my nose and vote dem!!! thats a twofer just because pigs have to get whats comming to them!!!
Make a full transcript of the entire convention. Then, point out, line by line, exactly where the chair violated order, quoting Robert's Rules. Send a letter citing these rules violations to the Kentucky GOP, National GOP, and to a local newspaper or two as an advertisement.
To everyone going these conventions: learn Robert's Rules inside and out. Know them like you know your own name. It is one of the primary means by which this Revolution is fought.
We tried to get the Veterans Disarmament Act denounced in the resolutions part of the Spokane Convention in Washington, and the McCain people fought it.
Our party, and our country, is gone. But we, teh Remnant, will live on without them.
And at least, where these conventions happen, we know the names of our traitors.
I was a Fayette County delegate to this "convention". It was a sham. It was a bad pageant. A convention is supposed to be a deliberative body, but there was no deliberation. Not even close. The chair just ran over the delegates who wanted to speak, as this audio makes clear.
The woman trying to speak at 2:39 is a veteran and her husband is active duty military, and Steve Robertson sent the sergeant at arms to expel her.
I guess that's an example of their "support the troops" resolution.
LOL Did you get your Republican Party of Kentucky letter dated Oct. 10? from Robertson? I think Steve is the guy I asked for my money back at the KY Rep convention! LOL

Boobus Americanus is alive and well in Kentucky. Public education is showing itself loud and clear. The two main parties in this country are a joke.

On a point of order, usually everything stops as the point is considered. Unless you're running a dictatorship.

My advice:
