Replacing the chemical used in the vision of a fly with the chemical used in the human eye and having the fly still able to navigate doesn't mean that humans have the ability to use that chemical to translate it into a visual perception of magnetic fields let alone a non-visual perception of them.

It's something that could be researched further though.
