You should try Burt's Bees Rejuvinating lip balm with acai berry. I'm in love with it! And it smells really good. I have the worst chapped lips EVER, and that's because I live in a very hot climate; Burt's Bees Rejuvinating lip balm with acai berry is the only lip balm I will ever use again.
Burt's seems to have some erratic hits and misses in their scents and products. The discontinued Carrot Lotion was wonderful and wish they would bring it back, the Lemon Cuticle Butter is great, but the 30 SPF Chemical-Free Non-Whitening SPF 30 Suncreen balls up on the skin, turns my cool-undertoned skin yellow, and has the immensely overpowering almond extract smell that Jergen's lotion had in the 1970-80s.
You are absolutely right about the scent! Nothing like honey at all. Hate to break it to you guys but seriously, real life (organic) honey just smells this bad. My father is a beekeeper and I almost have to puke every time I smell the honey. I love Burts Bees because it's all natural, it's amazingly healthy and in the long run it helps your skin a lot, they don't test on animals, and the packaging is recycled.
I have really dry/chapped lips so i kept peeling them off as a habit so it was really unattractive. I got these for Christmas and my lips have been saved! They haven't looked this good in years, and I've tried EVERYTHING. I actually like the smell :3
I agree. Burt's Bees is pretty much unbeatable when it comes to moisturizing, but when it comes to the scent of this particular balm...DISGUSTING. Balm = AMAZING...Smell... Appalling.

In the pack was a lip balm called Replenishing Lip Balm with pomegranate oil. I LOVE IT!!! it has a dark pink tint to it...smells good, and I love the way it feels on my lips :)
I must be the only person that does not like Burt's Bees Lip Balm. It does not feel nice on my lips. Kinda waxy feeling and then leaves a weird dry feeling. Nivea A Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care (dark blue tube) is my favorite, or Palmer's Lip Butter Dark Chocolate & Cherry is really good also.

burts bees original is Great. it cools your lips, its soothing and its great. i have 2. it smells like peppermint and you dont even have to use much just one swipe and your all done.
I was allergic to a magnolia tree at school that I had to walk by every day, so the school NP prescribed Flonase. And what does Flonase smell like? FREAKIN' MAGNOLIA!!! Life can be cruel sometimes...

I totally agree with the review. I've had it for a few months now, and it rarely gets used because the smell makes me nauseous. Well, the honey lip balm has a flower smell, roses to be more specific, to me.
And I like it!
The original beewax lip balm has a peppermint smell, which I'm not a big fan of.
And all the burt's bee lip sheers have the peppermint smell! I once bought one sheer, and almost discarded it after opening...
*If you're not a fan of having peppermint taste on your lips*, you'll like this honey lip balm :)

I reccommend using the peppermint version of the Burt's Bees Lip Balm.
It smells fantastic and tastes pretty good too.
& it has all the moisturizing qualities of the honey lip balm.

I must be the only person that does not like Burt's Bees Lip Balm. It does not feel nice on my lips. Kinda waxy feeling and then leaves a weird dry feeling. Nivea A Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care (dark blue tube) is my favorite, or Palmer's Lip Butter Dark Chocolate & Cherry is really good also.

Nope, I hate it too! D: It's too expensive, and I don't like how it feel either - it feels like it's on top of my lips, like a layer, not as if it's sinking into my lips and moisturising them at all?!

I really dont like lipbalms that wear off quickly coz i pay for them like $5 or something and they wear off!! eg the Cocoa Lip butter palmers dark choc!!

this is the only thing that works for me.
chapstick,nivea, lipsmackers- nothing else works.
It's expensive, but the first time i put it on, it worked immediatly. I have the original one, and it tastes like those little brach's christmas tree chewy candies and it makes your lips all cool and perfect. <333 LOVE IT!

i have this lip balm and i think it smells like beeswax or honeycomb ;; you know when you buy honey with the comb in it and you suck off all the honey? yeah it smells like that ;)

Oh yes! I love love love the Aqufina; especially the way it tingles. The gloss factor in it just makes me look like I lost a fight with some Popeyes chicken, but hey... thats just the kinda ghetto I am. Good comment!

The scent from the honey, and because it takes a while to wear off, actually makes my head hurt after a few hours. The one with peppermint is great!

Lol at the part when you talked about the smell. You're so adorable =). Btw, ur right, Burt Bee's is awesome but the smell of that chapstick...not so good

burts bees original is Great. it cools your lips, its soothing and its great. i have 2. it smells like peppermint and you dont even have to use much just one swipe and your all done.

i LOOOOVE the pomegranate lip balm they make, it is divine. i'm currently using the regular balm in the tin, tastes like good quality candy canes.
it's about 4.50 here in canada

that is my all time favorite chapstick in the world. thats my absolute fav.

I LOVE THIS STUFF! I got mine at Sears for $3.00. I love the smell! I really love it.
I normally brush my teeth and gentely exfoliate my lips. Then right after I put this on and its AMAZING.

I totally agree with the review. I've had it for a few months now, and it rarely gets used because the smell makes me nauseous. It reminds me of an old woman's perfume or something -- not exactly what I want my lips to smell/taste like! It's so disappointing, because I love the regular Burt's Bees lip balm and thought this would be even better. Wrong! Stick with the original.

Before i saw this reviews i went to the store to get a chapstick and ened up getting nivea im very upset with it i really should have got burts bee's i was scared some poeple told me ot feels gross and waxy but well yeah im very sad about that ill get that one next time nivea DOESNT WORK!

For some reason this one fave me extremely itchy lips, especially the skin around it. I'm not normally sensitive to lip balms so I found this odd. Maybe it was just a bad batch.

the scent actually comes from the cocoa butter, i believe. i remember i was at a store that sold pure cocoa butter and it wreak of the same smell. lovely lip balm, but terrible scent. i recommend that it be only worn at night

omg, i HATE the smell! I love the balm, but I had to throw it out because the smell made me sick. It reminded me of those candies called "goodies" that were like black licorice coated in sugar. so gross.

I have it next to me too! Im just putting it on now! & it works fast! I like it! But mines is not honey, it just says medicated lip balm dosent say honey on the outside idk why... It cost me $3 bucks! PFFT! Lol

The medicated and honey balms are two different products.
You got a different lip balm. Burt's Bees has a whole line. :)

I have this lip balm next to me right now. When you first smell it it smells GROSS but you get use to it. Honestly I kinda like the smell now.

it has menthol in it so if anyone needs to get rid of flaky lips (or chapped) i reccomend not using burts bees
