replay review should be used like in american football. 1 or 2 challenges per game, stop the clock and see if the call was correct. Only review things like offside or if the ball was in the goal.
No one likes to get screwed, and last time I checked, winning is more rewarding and losing is easier to take if it is fair. It also eliminates the political aspect of a bad call. Fouls can still be called that screw the team, but when the ball gets into the goal, you need to get the credit.

@tedbase how do you know? if it's 2-2 going into 2nd half... England wouldn't have been taking so many chances... the 3rd and 4th goal by Germany was on a counter run. Englan also hit the crossbar in the 2nd when it was still 2-1. They were very unlucky with no justice. Plus maybe England wins in shootout? have you thought about that?

But this is exactly what a replay rule would have avoided. Just get the calls right that you can get right, even if you need replay. Then let them play.

replay review should be used like in american football. 1 or 2 challenges per game, stop the clock and see if the call was correct. Only review things like offside or if the ball was in the goal.
No one likes to get screwed, and last time I checked, winning is more rewarding and losing is easier to take if it is fair. It also eliminates the political aspect of a bad call. Fouls can still be called that screw the team, but when the ball gets into the goal, you need to get the credit.
