Yeah man, ust listen to some combo music like Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue".
You've got the basic idea but your ride cymbal pattern gets weak when your hands start getting really creative. Try playing the basic ride pattern to a metronome at various tempos and comp with your left hand/right foot to some VERY basic patterns. (pick up "syncopation" by Ted Reed if you don't already have it!)
Great start though man! You'll be swingin' in not time!
wow that was really good much better than i could do! but you know what would be cool is if you tuned your drums a litltle higher the snare sounds amazing really high tuned in a jazz beat
This aint woth youtube.
Leave jazz alone if you can't play it.

Sounds great, man. I haven't been playing Jazz for too long, but it was really smooth. It flowed.

Dont listen to him, that took me about 3 drum lessons to learn when i was first starting, that was amaZing, smooth, and it swung the way jazz should.

hey dude, maybe its the audio i dunno but, blending?
the snare is normally in jazz a main focus, but quiet with emphasis on the ride - i dunno its probably just the audio on the video
