  • I'd buy it if I hadn't lived in Moscow(((

  • About the crush seals, I haven't seen or read anything about them, but they (vance and hines) did say to get the O2 screens? Can you please shed some light on what I should be doing correctly?

  • niiiiiccceee

  • I got these pipes on my 2009 M50 and didnt use a crush sleave...I dont think you need them? as for your neck and sholder pain..go to E bay and look up shapemaster inc. they have a 1' inch spacer to fix that...WITHOUT new cables..

  • Nice pipes. But where did you get that small windshield? NICE!

  • really, really great bike man

  • Was it difficult to install the new seat?

  • @cedartie Installing the aftermarket Saddlemen seat is the simplest possible modification. It only takes a minute or two, and only requires removing one hex bolt.

  • Better raise those bags a bit, Ive got the same V&H on my 05 Bully with the second set of the same saddleman's in the past 2 years. Put a jug of milk in the right one and 'burn baby burn' takes on a whole new meaning. You've got a great looking setup though. Aside from the 26K I've put on mine it still rides like day one. Sidenote: any idea where I can get a backrest replacement pad and plate? Mine went byebye a few K ago? Keep the shinny side up bro...and "whatever" to all the non-Ams.

  • hey, just thought i'd give you an update on my c50 handlebar installation on my m50. According to the shop I had it done at, it was quite tricky re-routing the cables, and I spent three weeks waiting for a new, longer clutch cable to come in. I mentioned to him what you told me about re-routing the stock cables behind the tripple tree but he insisted to do a proper job he'd need a new cable. Nonetheless it was WELL worth the wait as I no longer have any back, neck or shoulder pain while riding.

  • Hi are they after market pillion seat and rider seat? If so where did you get them from? Thanks

  • @merlinfluff Yes, the seat is after market. It's a Saddlemen Explorer, which is a one piece seat that fills Saddlemen's touring niche. I find it to be a very comfortable seat that still manages to look nice. My wife hated the stock torture device and probably likes the explorer even more than I do. Finally, it's quite a bit cheaper than Mustang's comparable offering.

In terms of where I got it from, I actually got mine new from an ebay store. But this seat isn't hard to find. Google it.

  • hey TJ love your bike. I need some help installing my power commander. I have a m50 2008. My bike back fires thats why i need to install the PC III. I was going to down load a map for the PC but my exhuast is not on there. My pipes are ROADHOUSE OUTLAW BLACK COMPLETE EXHAUST. Which map showed i download that is close to this exhaust..

  • Also when it is downloaded and installed on the bike how do i actually stop the back fire? do i increase the fuel or lower it. The bike back fires when i let the throttle go. Please help!!! thanks

  • @sharpelahi Actually, in the video I mention taking my bike to KWS Motorsports in North Charleston, SC in order to have it Dyno tuned. I did that because those guys are professionals who have the expensive equipment necessary in order to tune the Power Commander properly. So, my recommendation: go to the Power Commander website and find the nearest authorized tuning location. If you take it there, they'll resolve that backfiring issue.

  • Hi TJ, I just got the power comander III from FuelMoto, and they said that I can installed myself. Do you did it yourself on your bike or you paid for it?

  • @haroldavid77 I paid to have it done, but that's just because I was being lazy, I definitely think you could do it yourself. The only part about the process that looks like a pain is removing the fuel tank, which must be done in order to access the necessary wiring.

  • @tjhallum :

Thank you for u help, I will take the first recommendation and also I will put it 4 LED lights. I just got 2" lower the last week.....and looks great!!

  • Awesome ride man!, I have the same bike and just had cruzers professionally installed and I thought you might want to know my heat shields dont go all the way up either :P I've also got a c50 handlebar on it aswell but I have yet to ride it with that on because its still in the shop getting all the cables in. where did you get your seat btw? that looks so comfortable..

  • @guitarfetish342 I have a set of C50 handlebars waiting for me to install when I return from Iraq. I've read that many M50 owners made this modification by running the stock brake/throttle/clutch cables behind the triple tree. However, I view this as a perfect opportunity to upgrade to stainless steel cables. I purchased ss cables made for the C50, in hopes that they'll work fine with C50 bars on an M50. We'll see...How did you do your C50 handlebar install?

  • @tjhallum Oh ok awesome, it's good to know I'm not the only one who's doing this :P But yeah the bike shop told me they have to order in knew ones, which i'm assuming will be much better quality but I have yet to see them for myself, If all goes well it'll all be done by later today so I'll let you know how it went. Btw I hope you get home soon and safe from Iraq... thats brutal man...

  • Very nice sound, I like it!

  • Any Suzuki dealer should have the crush seals in stock.

  • I have a 2009 m50 and I am about to put on some pipes where do I get the crush seals for the exhaust

  • Moto nota 10...

Gostaria de saber a marca do seu banco. Ficou muito bom com o encosto para a coluna e o do garupa tudo junto.

    Abraços

    (Motion notices 10

It would like to know the mark of its bank. It was very good with it I lean for the column and of the crupper the everything together.

    Abraços)

  • Great video. You made me want pipes for my M50. My bike has nothing more than stock done to it. I have 22,000 miles. It is nice to see what all the accessories would look like on my bike.

  • Nice Job. :)

  • would you be able to down load the map for your Power commander and send it to me? I am installing the same package as yours.

  • How much did the bike put down on the dyno?!?! I want to know the difference between mine with just cobra pipes vs yours the the big3. Thanks

  • Please reference the same post I mentioned in an earlier comment to in3days67. This post includes all the dyno info and dyno charts.

  • How much diff did the power command make in speed?

  • Potential speed has much more to do with transmission gearing and final drive ratios. The power of the engine just dictates weather or not the bike will be able to achieve that potential speed, and if so, how fast. Given the stock final drive ratios of the M50, it's top speed is around 120 MPH, and according to some that's optimistic. So, moral of the stoy is, the power commander isn't going to increase the 120 MPH top speed, but it will help you get to that top speed faster.

  • @tjhallum it might take you above 120mph if it raises the rev limiter.

  • Excellent vid! thanks for share the info. I thought the same about the brackets, but I've seen that's perfectly normal

  • Whats the numbers to the crush seals from suzuki? And your bike looks awesome!!!

  • Out to the right of the video you'll see a text description. If you select "(More Info)," you'll be able to read the entire description. At the bottom I have a link to a post on the Marauder M50 Secret Hideaway forum where I provide all the details of this fuel system mod, and at the bottom of the post you'll see some pictures. One of the pics is of the OEM crush seal label, and the numbers are on it.

  • Sorry, forgot to mention, you first need to login to the Marauder M50 Secret Hideaway forum before you click the link, or you will not be taken to the correct post. If you're not a member already, it only takes a minute to sign up. Then you can login, click the link, and it'll take you directly to my post.

  • I have the same bike, what power commander did u buy for this?

  • I installed the Power Commander USB III

  • You do not have to have a Power Commander installed with the V & H Cruzers. There is a down side to this though: you won't gain any HP, just a better sound (you might even loose a couple HP due to the drop in back pressure). However, if you do not get a Power Commander, DO NOT ALTER THE AIR INTAKE. The stock ECU can adapt enough to compensate for the pipes, but if you also change the air intake it will be more than the stock ECU can handle.

  • nice bike! 5 stars

  • Nice video, good looking bike. Maybe you can upload some drive-by videos to hear the pipes in action?

  • I'll try to do that some time. I'll have to try to get my friend to play camera man again, and I'll have to find a road that's less busy than the one near my apartment. Probably won't be within the next week or so, but I'll try to get around to it. Thanks for the interest!

  • Nice job!

  • Thanks!
