Word of caution: Serious business users will have a hard time wading through all the kiddy generated chad on these forums. We're not quite seeing the battery life issues here in the Detroit area as reported by some on many of the forums. Battery life is easily 200% of what we see with the 3G IPhones here. Not what you're used to with a RIM device, but not a bad trade-off either, especially considering that this is a true enterprise-ready device with a keyboard.

It was released today (1st Sept) for UK Vodafone users. It was already launched on Orange UK on 16th August. T-mobile UK plan to launch "before 1st November" and O2 which have exclusive rights for the Apple Iphone in the UK just say "coming soon"

When your resturant comes out with a new dish, some may start only ordering the new one and abonding the old, some may order both, and some will not even like the enw dish. I think we should see how blackberry implements the touchscreen before we make bold statements. For the time being, the QWERTY keyboard is favorable for mass typing.

The Voyager, which was supposed to kill iPhone did no better than any other phone. iPhone 2 with tons of 3rd party apps, and Bold, will get lots of people into 2 year contracts with AT&T. iPone 2 and Bold will take most of their potential takers. Not to mention lots of people are soured by the Voyager. Mark my words .. Thunder will be good, but will not do any better than Voyager.

Another Blackberry! A msg mailbox 'er fone. Last B-berry went back for a trade to a Treo PDA with annoying as hell touch screen. Both had almost all the features of my old clamshell, indestructible Sanyo. If you think a Hummer is an investment get a PDA fone. I have more respect for folks with Samsungs and LG's than an i-not-Phone, B-Berry or Treo-god-I-hate-that-fone.
