and for people who are having a hard time with the barre chord... its really not that hard, if you can just barre it first and then put your 2nd and 3rd fingers down quick, almost like a d chord.... i'm having a harder time trying to get from the b minor to the g chord quick..

@corning1 It's a type of playing a G chord. She's muting an A string with her middle finger, I guess it's called G7. But it's not making any difference, you can play a simple G chord, that's for sure.

@gerardsloan you should learn the proper way to play guitar properly but it doesn't hurt to 1.) know alternatives and 2.) have easier ways to play songs quicker... try this chord... X 20202 (played on the second fret - relative to capo) But take time also to practise proper barres.

@valekitty96 With capo on the 3rd fret, bar the the 10th fret and put your 3rd finger on the 12th fret. (without capo move shape down 3 frets). Alternatively, with capo on 3rd fret place your first second and 3rd finger on the 5th fret on the A,D,G strings repspectivly (no bar chord option). Hope that helps and enjoy!!

They do sound good, but.. i dont really know how do describe it. Did you go and test one out at the shop?

@wesere12 Well, they're based on the gibson J-200 I think, if you have deep enough pockets, and you're willing to play guitar for a long time, then you should get that one instead. They sound a lot better, and feel a lot better.

If you're wanting to play these sorts of music (coldplay), then it's a really good choice. I don't know about the epiphone version though.

@wesere12 Or you could look at the gibson hummingbird. Which is a really really nice guitar. I would get one of those myself if i had enough money. I guess the choice is really up to you, im not sure how much each one will cost, so you'll have to look it up. I'd say three really good choices are: Epiphone EJ-200, Gibson J-200, and Gibson Hummingbird. (I think) They're in order of cost respectively, going up.
