Actually even the last generation is becoming rare because most people end up trashing them and their fate is being a rustbucket. With that said, I like the 80s better than the 70's however of course the 70s had the badass engines. I wish the last generation had a 454.

dude, im sorry but i dont think you know your talking about, post 74 el caminos were standard with a 305 or a 350 at best, and because of government regulations especially in california engines were extremely de-tuned in order to meet smog, 1972 was the last year any muscle car with the exception of 80's grand nationals were fast.

I liked the 78-79 with the single headlights . I think 80 had that stupid emblem on top of the header panel and 81 up I dont like the 4 headlights. My 79 had a 383 and 4 speed it was a lot of fun. Friend of mine had a red 65 with the 327 that was a running old car to. downfall was it ate valve cover gaskets like I do cereal lol It had the original 65 valve covers
