the combination of Keith Reid's surreal, morbid, hallucinatory lyrics and Trower's incandescent droning guitar lines was always hugely evocative, like a long LSD-flavored mental orgasm - just wish it was longer

This track from the 1971 BROKEN BARRICADES album was a preview of what Robin Trower's future solo work would sound like.
Wish the owner of this record had taken better care of it, so it wouldn't sound so scratchy.
