As hilarious as this video is, there is kind of a tragic note when it looks like the librarian had a heart attack and died.

One slight change I would have made is after the librarian screams: "WE DON'T HAVE COOKIES," I would have had Cookie Monster say: "Me get feeling you don't have cookies," rather than "Me get feeling you only have books." His final request: "And a glass of milk," would have worked better that way. (You don't have cookies, but you didn't say you didn't have milk.)

Usually I know Cookie Monster never takes "no" for an answer when someone says that they don't have cookies and I'm sure Cookie Monster would find that the books would taste delicious to him if he ate them which of course would have made the librarian angry but, I guess the reason Cookie Monster didn't eat any of the books is because, maybe he was looking for a lot of good books to borrow and present them in "Monsterpiece Theater" since Cookie Monster plays and hosts as Alistair Cookie.
